I always thought the type of grouping is based on the price money. 500K consider group 1....

Can any of your great punter advice how the normal racing partern in Randwick were?. Does the track favour front runner or meddle or back in big races and at a mile or 1.5miles.

How is the track condition as of today at Randwick and Flemington.

What is the weather forecast?

Sportz
29th September 2005, 08:38 PM
Not sure what the track is in Sydney, but it's been raining there today. Not looking all that good.

As for Melbourne, it should be a good track there but this meeting in previous years has sometimes favoured leaders as they put the rail out 9m.

By the way, Battle Maiden is an early scratching from the Epsom.

You know what I find funny is that a month or so ago alot of people would have been tipping Binding to win the Epsom now I doubt there will even be alot of people who do probably get proven wrong just funny how he has sort of come in the backdoor for the Epsom now. I know he is at 9-1 at the moment but noone is mentioning this horse when he would have been at best half that price before if not a pronounced favourite who looked unbeatable.

Ok the Epsom turned out to be a very tough race for any of us to sort out with only one person being able to tip any part of the quinella and that was Carol Friedman picking Johan's Toy so yes noone picked the winner. I will post the results for today 1st then put up the results for the season to date.

I will say again once you have missed 3 weeks worth of tips you name will be deleted from the comp as will your results not trying to be a prick but I find it ridiculos just updating scores when there are people there who caneven be botherd putting i picks. Crack Horse & Svenvlad have been removed this week as they have 3 misses each.

Could you have a look at my score for the past weekend

I picked 3 winners those being Xellent, Railings and Fashions Afield plus 2nd with Pendragon and ended up with 40.60 points. If I understand the points system correctly it is 10 for 1st, 7.5 for 2nd and 5 for 3rd, then the dividend added to the points. so that makes it my score of 37.5 before the didvidends are added

If I have got this wrong I do apologize
