Sorry, I'm on holidays from competitions for a while, so I'm not volunteering, but I had a quick look through everyone's tips and it looks like Crash got the best score this week.

All,
To make this a bit easier in the future I can setup a quick website which requires a simple login and allows you to enter tips.
It will still need to be administered by someone for the results but it will be a whole lot easier than going through forum posts.
Would this be useful ? Or would people not use it becasue they need to go to another site ?
Good Luck

As Neil our forum boss here would say [or will if he reads your suggestion]. NO, NO, and another big NO:-)
There are commercial considerations here to consider for Neil [can't have him starving can we?] and a place to go for us, this forum. They [the commercial side] rely on exposure to us. We can't let the bugger [Neil] down, as he is our bread and butter [this forum] and we are his. So everything must stay here for very sound financial reasons. Another site? Gees mate, we might start a political movement doing that one. Don't even think about it!!!
PS. I'd love to buy some of Neils products [especially some of his top shelf stuff] as I hear they are ****** excellent, but the bugger won't give me a discount [and look at the hard yards I put in to increase his audience]!!!

Well it would be good if Admin could provide some functioanlity to do monitor/handle competitions. It isn't hard, and would probably take a day to setup.
It would attract a lot more people to the site.

Actually fellas, this is a topic i have been giving quite a bit of consideration recently. I sometimes visit another site, a US based site for NFL tipping and conversation. At these sites they have major Sportsbooks sponsoring their tipping comps. Prizemoney is put up each week for the winners, usually in the form of a credit to your account to bet with (some conditions exist). I was thinking that would be a great idea to introduce here for our weekly comps. Perhaps IAS or Sportingbet would like to get involved as it would be a good source of cheap advertising/promotion with the very people they should be targetting - us punters. Sound good? Any suggestions?
Neil, Mgmt - would you guys have any major problems with this?

WEsmip1 or Chuck.
Leave me off the list next week and after thanks guys. The comp. was just a bit of fun for me, but obviously [my tipping thread and other thread content] it's not fun at all. I'll be avoiding serious tips in any shape or form from here on.
Cheers.
