Earlier this month we banned a character who posted on this forum using the guise rustydude.
This character registered for our forum with the same hotmail address as the contact email address on an obscure, Canadian based free server horseracing website, then commenced to promote his business on our site on the cheap.
Free web server. Free ads, heh?
If we want to promote ourselves on someone else's site we would have the deceny to contact the site operators and see if a deal could be struck.
We do not go around registering on other site's forums, hiding under obscure user names, then promoting our business on the cheap.
We are prepared to pay for our promotions and do not scum off the hard work of others.
This same character has posted on his website:
"We do not mind people viewing the free selection each day over a period but we disapprove of tyre kickers. If you're just coming here for the free ride each day off our free selection eventually your IP address will be banned. If you like what we do then join, otherwise don't freeload."
