I am heading up to Rosehill on Saturday for the golden slipper. Just after a few pointers from the locals. How long will it take to get to the track from the airport? I am guessing a taxi is the best way? Being a big day I would expect it to be busy, but wondering if anyone who has been to both the golden slipper and the melbourne carnival could make a comparisn?
Will anyone else be there?

Last time I went it took me 40mins and around $30 AUD. You can take public transport back to the city once its finished, as there is a station right by the side of the course. Just take the M4 freeway and you'll be there in comfort.
