McNair is fuming over the weight alotted to Hay List.

He does look a little harshly treated with 58.5, I was thinking 57-57.5 might be more the order of the day.
Thoughts??

Apparently the family owners have over-ruled him and wish to start.

I just read that.
Doesn't bode that well for his chances for mine if the trainer is not happy.

Old trainers place too much emphasis on weights. Good horses are always well off in Quality Hcps. Thank goodness the owners held sway.

Don't forget......on recent form he is the 2nd best sprinter-miler in the country and there is plenty of prizemoney available to keep the owners happy!
