Some nice overlay winners to be had today.

Over Wednesday and today the tips have had 54 winners out of the 62 races with only 5 selections per race, now i have just got to figure out how to use a good staking plan to utilise these winners more.

Any Ideas???

seems to me you have your own five horse race so why not make your own book and bet when the value is there (sorry i cant do better) there are sharper minds out there who will help you im sure good luck buddy your a star

Testa,

You could Dutch your five selections but that will lead to odds-on for almost ever bet and you would have lost badly. You could Dutch the first five SP horses in any race and you would have 80% [over the long hawl] of the winners [again very odds-on] but a run of outs would soon put you in the red too and they happen often [I tried it and it's hopeless].

However, your stike rate for your first two perhaps is good enough to win on and that comes down to deciding on which two to back out of your five.

i reckon if ya showin a profit at flat stakes, i think betting set % of your bank is probably as good a way as any to go. I Just look for the overlays on my prices, of the horses I rate as single figure odds and bet that way... seems to work ok..some days good some days not so good... Good luck with it.. ya can certainly sniff the chances out

You have very impressive results, but I dont see your pre race selections on this forum, so are these the results of your personal bets, or do you make them public for others to bet on?

I could certainly do with a few of those results of yours for myself.

We can bet on selected Aussie races on most days, and Saturdays we can bet on the major meetings.

Testarossa posts his tips pre-race as does everybody ealse. If posted without beting intention the results are assumed as posted for interest only, not claimed.

If the exotic results attract, then assume a layout of a boxed Tri of 5 horses for all races [not just the winning ones], $60x32 races [1 unit each]. Outlay $1920, collect $976.40, loss $943.60.Other exotics of Quin. and exacta work out just as cosly.

I think you are only seeing the collects but not the outlay. I'd love some of the former without the later too.
