I'm going to use MS access and compile a database of a horses form.

Does anyone know how I should begin. Please provide an example.

It's not that simple unfortunately.

May I suggest that you acquire the information and then decide on how you're going to split it up in the database.

I'd also suggest downloading some example databases on the net and looking at the structure etc.

cyberhorse has good form subscription.
contains. prizemoney won. distance performances distance won over margins beaten etc.
last five starts. if you cant get results from that i think you may be trying too hard.

There are 2 database companies already to save data entry.

They contain full databases for Aus / NZ races. Trying to enter the info yourself may become too much work.

I really should add RSB and AAP to this list also. Does anybody know a good database source for Hong Kong / Singapore racing?
