I am very keen on Men at Work, very, very keen.

Great record at the distance, never missed a place.
Zabeel on the up with a great SR.

Beaten 2.5 by railings last start over the same trip when sat wide the entire trip and boxed on gamely for third. Would have only been beaten 1 length for mine if had a good run. We know this form is good.

Given a couple of weeks to get over the hard run.

Fill the kitty for cox plate day.

Sarrerra for second. Only start at Geelong a win. Last start behind Leica who is gonna be a star.

Command And Conquer for third. Following a close up run behind Activation a couple of runs ago. Peak fitness now.

What are peoples thoughts on the murray bridge cup? Squilani doesn;t have a flash record over the mile.

What about Mr Innocent ??

Needs a big run to qualify for Melb cup.

Do you mean Mr Celebrity?

Seems a pretty unorthadox prep to me. I don;t like horses who jump straight from a 1600 to a 2400. I don;t really understand why he would be going to the melbourne cup anyway. He can;t win the MC, it's a waste of time.

Good jock: Dean Yendall on board, major weight drop, good

Record at track.

Dazz, thanks for your input on the MB cup. Think you might be on the right tram with fly for me. Merlot now would give this a mighty shake if he was at his best but he just doesn't seem to be on top of his game at the moment. But your right, there will probabaly be a bit of speed. What is the straight like at the murray bridge track, are you aware? If its long then that might give the backmarkers an entry into the race.

Also had another look at the Geelong, thought if you were taking multis you might want to throw in On a Jeune - pretty unlucky last start. There are a few place chances that are hard to seperate.

Yeh i like the look of Don Rapheal and Mr.Celebrity to fill the first two placings in the Cup. Show Barry, Brave Lancer orOn a Juene to fill the last placing.

But for value im going with the Don.

r they all OAj into OAJ and if so, will you get that divvie, or only half as is the case with doubles bookies, when you take one horse in a double ( one horse in both legs)

XPT, the divvies already halved mate (half of 26x201) and like I said it'll need a hell of a lot of luck...as will many other rough doubles hehe..but I'm not a big punter so this time of year I love having a stack of doubles at huge odds for a little outlay.....what ****es me off though is that while it's unmanned the tab puts a limit on the amount you can bet/collect so you wear out yr clicking finger lol..

But hey, if it gets a start I've got somethin going for 11k and I can't remember winning $11k off one race for.... ages ;)

Start Rant here:
And isn't that the biggest piece of hiway robbery these bastids get away with. For the life of me I don't get how they can do it.. The bookies bleat that if the horse wins the 1st leg it's price shortens in the 2nd.. so what? Stiff ****e for the leeches... If they don't want to pay fair odds dont take the bets.. It is nothing but burglary of the highest order..
End Rant Here

XPT, me and a few mates have been saying the same for years. I have two answers:

1. Yes it is the best piece of highway robbery since Ben Hall and it gives me the chits constantly.
2. For the minimal outlay that I invest I'll quite happily take the divvie.
