to all those Lad of the Manor fans out there, but i've been studying the form hard, and looking at videos and sectionals, and Makybe Diva simply will not lose this race. Lay her at your ABSOLUTE peril

Oh Chucky, you poor misguided fool--have backed the Lad in every start he has had and am not about to stop now that he is about to realise the potential we always knew he had

Sorry Real Deal but have no idea what you are talking about. Never even had a bet on old Shogun Lodge but as I did have a mare with Roger Hoysted a couple of years ago I have closely followed the Lad from day 1

Correct me if i'm wrong but shogun lodge has had more 2nds in Group 1s than Our egyptian Reign. Me and Chuck were making names for you!

There are lot worse names one could be given then. Change all those close 2nds at GI level to wins and old Shogun goes down as one of our all-time greats

Yes, it was never in doubt was it? (well maybe a little doubt, I've seen a lot of sure things get beaten) We had a great day at Rosehill today and The Diva received one of the few sustained ovations I've heard in the members for a horse running interstate. I can't wait to get down there next Friday for the annual puntathon. Hopefully she will salute again at Flemo on Cup Day. It will be something very very special.
