Just finished the last UNI exam so thought i would divert my attention to another kind of study. Have done a preview of the birthday eve races at sandown - 19 on sunday. Should be good, Dad is getting me a DVD recorder so i can record all the races. Anyway for what it's worth:-

Race 1

Hmm anyone got any oil, because i would’nt have any idea.

6 - Red pluton - was on last start, always respect Hayes
8 - Shoptalk - stokes has brought it down, well across, from Adelaide. Lead?
2 - Montfort - maybe callow might slap it into action

Showify/Visionaire because they have noble names and i like horse with respectable names. I know maybe a bit weird but for some reason i just puts me off it is called like Pantyhose or Bubbleobill

Race 2

I was dissapointed with Maxarelle last start. Some may think that is harsh given she was only just beated, but i think she was entitled to win. It may have been fitness adn if so she is fully fit now and wins. If it wasn;t fitness which i have a query over because she normally comes to hand quite quickly then the jury is out. I will stick with her. In fact after bagging the s””t through her i am gonna make her a speciial. Big fan of Provence, i think one of the two will win. Retail therapy gets a mention because she had been good to me before last start, where she was the first beaten after leading. That was second up and a lot of horses don’t go that well second up. A lot of people will just off which may mean she is overs, watch the betting for her as i would want OK odds.

1 - Maxarelle**
2 - Provence

Race 3

Cathy has the class edge on these ones. If it’s dry i like her.

1 - Readyforcatherine**
3 - Terra Tale

Race 4

Loyal Lauren has the weight but she goes super second up 3/5. Paris zero appears on face value to have not that good form 88 but if you look at her times she is right in this. Cannot leave out a horse who has never been out of a place and in good company too in Sojustremember this - 3rd run back, shes ready. Hard to rate the rest of the fiels but Brakenette was a nice run on the video last start.

1 - Loyal Lauren/ 2 - Paris Zero / 6 - Sojustrememberthis
3 - Belle Chelle/ 7 - Aliandra / 9 - Brakenette
4 - Change of Class / 8 - Cool and composed

Race 5

Good run by A. Cooled at WFA behing old Bomber last start, 4th back should be peaking. Rokococo is going ahead in leaps and bounds, have to include. I hate Chut. Why am i tipping it then you may ask? Well i have never tipped or backed it before in my life but just have a gut feeling about it this run - love form numbers that look like his 844. O carnarvass has good record over the trip and goes ok first up. Shadowmaker is knocking on the door as is Winning master.

1 - Air cooled / 10 - Rokococo / 9 - Chut
3 - O carnarvass / 4 - Shadowmaker / 6 - Winning master

Race 6

Big fan of a couple of the mares in this race. Aqua is smart and looked as if last run she would be ready next time out. Break the vault is a very good up and comer who defeated Lord of the Land in sydey and this horse came out and won well. Storm alert is a horse i have a lot of time for but she just can;t crack the win. How she got beaten last start i will never know. Show barry has the gate where he can run his usual strong on pace performance. And i had Wild in the trifecta for third when he came 4th, i think he is an underated horse. Kehlstein is honest and always runs a nice race. Roman arch is heading to WA i believe but if he runs, he will win or come close. There will be plenty of knockers with 60 but he is a tough as nails.

7 - Aqua D’amore / 8 - Break the vault / 5 - Storm alert
2 - Show barry / 9 - Wild Classic
11 - Kehlstein
* Roman arch if he runs rates on first line

Race 7

Big run by button shaw last start at Flem, think Sandwon will suite. Like him. Pink fit railed up and i thought it was a very respectable run when the challendes were coming left right and centre. Fifeshire, obviously set for the last race but if he can place. Watch the video of Glock - has been very out of form lately but last start good run, up in class but a good run is a good run. Botero, love this horse, if he gets a cheap lead - catch me if you can.

4 - Butten Shaw**
9 - Pink Fit
6 - Finfeshire / 11 - Glock / 2 - Botero
5 - Our Spur / 10 - Kings Champ

Race 8

Quite a bit of speed in this race, i have put a couple down as tips on form but if they go hard Secateurs and Don’t tell tom might weaken, perhaps go for a backmarker. Depends on how a ouple of the first uppers look. I will be working so don’t have the luxury of checking.

1 - Secateurs / 2 - Maybe Mclaren / 3 - Don;t Tell Tom/ 10 - Trifold
13 - Watchyerback / 7 - Appian Way / 6 - Lots of Swing
14 - Crystelon

And here is sydney: not a top day by any means.

Race 1
Unless there is something special in the unraced then a special up’n’ doing odds. I will be watching only. Actually no i won’t i will be at work but you know what i mean.

Race 2
Again a watch race. Beadmans mount won by 11.7 lengths though last start.
What the? Onle beat Canberra wagon pullers but it is a nuclear freeze out of a Don;t say halo mare, so it may be the real deal.

Race 3
1 - Bella Arena to just nose out 2 - Danehill lass.
Work out the riddle. I think number 3 piculet can go alright because last run inside wasn’t the 7.

Race 4
10 - Grandiloquent from Sherwood. How many chances do frescante and lutalo want?

Race 5

3 - Clevergaze
9 - Silent song

That is all

Race 6
Leave me out please. Don't you hate it wehn you are looking through the form when you see a horse you usually follow has got up withoout you even knowing it was running. Windon.....Grrrrrr.

Race 7
3 - Force apollo can get the prize here

Race 8
Toughie to finish up on.

6 - Saxon / 8 - Princess Gemma / 11 - Triple Dee / 10 - Hit the road
3, 4, 5
