Well, it's only at the nominations stage. Can't be sure they'll all accept. If they do, it's some sort of race!!!

without knowing rewayaa's record down the straight, i am stumped as to how you can like this horse ahead of Queen of the Hill. Everyone knows the reason Queen is not undefeated down the straight is due to some poor steering and not being able to stay on.
I am only comparing these 2 due to same age, sex and weight. Whilst i think QOTH is a good chance i do not rate it on top either.

Waig for te fnal field and some prices wll find someting e/w and back that not willing to take anythig short in ths field as far as QOTH goes regardless of the straight track experience I think I would go e/w on Rewaaya over it to.

I think I would take the 7s about Takeover Target before any of the others on equal or lower odds than him. QOTH and Rewaaya are woeful odds if that ends up anywhere near the market come staurday.

"He gave me a good feel and he had a good blow."

Well, here's one for you. The winner of the last at Wagga today was called SHAG INDEED, and it's Unitab rating for the race was 69. :D

The horse ran on 3 wet tracks in the early part of the spring carnival and was put out to spell, comes back a bigger better fitter horse, wins a barrier trial by 14 lengths??????????????????
the barrier trial was against morphetville maidens
Sportz
3rd February 2006, 07:21 AM
It was a VERY impressive barrier trial, BUT Dwayne Dunn (like many other people) thinks that Rewaaya has a very bright future and she will be competing in bigger prizemoney races than Undoubtedly, so that's why he's gone that way.

I have taken $8.00 for Jet Spur with sports bet,I feel that he is the forgotten horse in the race.He has won fresh and has also won down the straight, also has a big race jock in Glen Boss who just loves Melbourne.

Newcastle R4n5 Fashfield & n6 Josand will run well.

CAPE OF GOOD HOPE should be just a little too classy.
Main dangers STRATUM and TAKEOVER TARGET.
SNITZEL also a hope.

I cannot seperate most of these horses very tough race with so many questions.
I really like Rewaaya and Media infact I cannot split them so I am probably going to just back them both atleast it should cover me if there is a bias towards the inside or outside anyway. Cape of Good Hope and Takeover Target are both exceptional horses but the 1000m could be a bit nippy for them and I amnot sure that Cape of Good hope is the same horse that was out here last year I think that was his chance to win the Lightning last year.
I have doubts that Proprietor really has any chance but good luck to connections, Stratum I think is a good horse but I amnot sure whether he is quite upto this his 2 runs straight though were both very good obviously the one behind Glamour Puss looks excellent. God's Own very very good horse but this is to short for him 1200m would have given him a chance.
I amnot a fan of Undoubtedly and have not considered it personally Snitzel is a hard horse for me to back usually terrible odds and at WFA he meets Media badly for losing to her 1st up last campaign. To all the fans of Queen of the Hill and Jet Spur I am sorry but I don't like either of them they may go out and quinella the race but it would be without my support that is for sure.
Trifecta
1st: Rewaaya, Media, Takeover Target
2nd: Rewaaya, Media, Takeover Target, Snitzel, Cape of Good Hope

I have loaded up on Takeover Target at $8. But the ****ty thing is that scratchings are refunded and deductions apply.
Just wondering how much do you think my odds will be slashed with glamour puss being scratched? Could cost me 100's.
