Any idea why Cox plate suspended?. Plan to bet on Lad of the Manor.

Apparently there is some problem with Eremein,just heard it on Sky thru Bensley.
Pulled up sore after working the reverse way in Sydney and is doubtful for the Yalumba at this stage.Was supposed to go to Melb. this week,but not going at this stage.

Champion galloper Eremein’s Cox Plate preparations are up in the air after Racing NSW Chief Steward Ray Murrihy revealed on 2ky this morning the horse is suffering from muscle soreness.
The multiple Group One winner is suffering from muscle soreness causing him to be short in his action in the off hind leg.
X-rays have revealed no structural damage but trainer Allan Denham and veterinarian Tim Roberts will call in another veterinarian opinion this afternoon.
