Race 1,
Sirmione looks the one after looking good last start,,but theres some question marks over the distance (jump of 500m) this is enough for me to get alittle sceptical,,,with these sort of races i like looking at the breeding and trying to find something that will be suited by it,,,thing is i cant and its probably why Sirmione is 2.50 ,,,Aquaracer has been racing in great style and atleast isnt a distance worry,,just a class worry...Currigee has got some credentials but last couple have been awfull..
Not excited about this race,,..will be warming up at the bar,
Race 2,
Really like Rash Promise ,,,i know Legendary Man looked good last start but i'll wait till next time for him as i think he might need another run..Rash is fit and will be put to sleep on the inside and has enough time in the smallish field to get some room..Masai Pride will be improved with JB back on..but the main danger is SpyZaim,,horse has got some good form and from the good barrier will be right in it all the way..
Rash on top..exacta with Spyzaim
Race 3,
With Raheeb out ,,Danliegh looks a special,,gets a good barrier and has been flying...the big track and distance look ideal..(might have given the straddie a shake ?) ,,,Prince Leo was good last start without any luck,,is in good form but Colless will need alot of luck...Snort although a backmarker has shown he can take a possie from a good draw worth including..
Danliegh the one ...Prince Leo worth an e/w spec even with the draw...
Race 4,
How hard is this race....i have Coolroom Candidate, Hanna Rossa, Villa Bled, Jadane all very close ,, ..I'm a fan of Coolroom and you know you'll get a good run for your money,,alittle worried about the distance...Villa Bled's last 2 runs have been huge,,,has the good barrier but doesnt win enough to get the warm and fuzzies about,,,,,Jadane was good last start,,,Hanna Rossa was even better,,,....good race to play with the tris adding storm signal and jazella and even Countess bathory whos ready now 3rd run in.....
I'll settle on Villabled i think,,unless something jumps out at me in the yard bet it will be Coolroom,,....go wide in the exotics.
Race 5,
Kyros was just to good last start not to back here,,,has everything to suit including the better jockey chancge :) ..Apercu the obvious danger,,,a good roughie to juice up the exotics is Acquired,,very good last start and bred to appreciate the extra distance..
Kyros ..
Race 6,
I doubted Lasaron at the distance last start,,,and will do the same again,,..Eskimo Queen is just flew last start ..I was hugely impressed with Fuji Fantasy and like the trainer with distance horses but the wet track might have flattered..I liked the run of Very grand and the distance should suit,,..and the same with Dougs Mate who's bred perfectly for this.. will have fun with the exotics and have between Doug and Fuji
Race 7,
Another hard race,,,,seems the freshns suit ********** Sky who must be a fragile little thing..but at 1300m in this class,,,some question marks,,The honest Mr Hornblower never runs a bad race and should be considered..The Jackal ridden awfull last start hasnt got the ideal barrier for him but EF gives you a chance to get out in plenty of time....Enrique looked good last start and is a show and i know everyone is righting off Daunting Lad because of the weight but hes earned it..Son Of dane is going well and when you look at the speed map he gets the good run in behind Rassmussen,,,there might not be alot speed in this race,,Rassmussen leading with Tellem, Son Of Dane and Daunting lad going forward......these could get it fairly easy in front unless tellem takes Rass on....Nova Star was very good last start with the weight and is in good form..likes the track aswell..
Mr Hornblower gets his chance and is nice odds i have him coming over with Son Of dane and being very handy maybe even 1 out 1 back but atleast in the top 5.....consitency gives him the nod in a very hard race to work out..
Race 8,
Grand Zulu is going ok and is thriving in Qld,,liking the better tracks i guess...hasnt won for donkeys,,...Gaze and Headturner the obvious,,,whos leading this race ?? hard speed map ,,,..hope i dont need this race to get out of Jail...
Grand Zulu e/w at odds,,

Best bets... Rash Promise, Kyros, Danleigh
Best e/ws.. Mr Hornblower....Prince leo

Good Luck all :)

Looks perfectly poised. $4.20+ Looks mighty good to me. Was stiff last time in, supremely confident she can win tomorrow.

Race 1: Not really interested in betting here but if Sirmione doesn't win today I don't think it ever will again, my other chance in this race I thought might be Currigee I think it is a better horse than it has been showing in brissie so far could easily see him winning this. I don't there is a bet here unless Currigee is around the $15-$20 mark

Race 2: Legendary Man looks ready to win IMO his 1st 2 runs back have been very nice in strong company and he gets back to a track which suits him much better than Doomben does, I have always had time for Rash Promise and like alot of others seem to think it is the horse to beat here but by no means is it over the line in a tough little race, I thought Atapi was sensational fresh and could easily take another step forward from there. I like Legendary Man here he is a quality horse getting to a perfect trip for him on a track that will suit his style expecting to see him around the $7-$10 but will back him if shorter anyway

Race 3: Not all that interested here either although I did think there was a horse here that has a rough e/w chance in Alberto he has some form around Jokers Wild in NZ which is well and truly good enough to win this race IMO, Like alot of these NZ horses they take a run or 2 over here before they show there best and alot of the time Eagle Farm suits them alot better than Doomben, Danleigh, Snort and Prince Leo are the ones to beat. Probably a no bet race for me but might have something e/w on Alberto

Race 4: My god this race is ridiculosly hard I can't narrow this down to one horse but I do have a few I am looking at they are in no order Martiniforus, Rosa's Spur, Hanna Rossa, Reverenza & My Hangover if it gets a run. I am leaning towards Rosa's Spur slightly with Reverenza but nothing would shock me in this race certainly a tough one to zero in on something and have a dig at it. As I said tough race would look for value out of the 5 horses I mentioned Rosa's Spur has the ability to win this and Reverenza has been flying My Hangover i think might have raced a bit flat last time and would certainly entertain it again if it gets a start

Race 5: Kyros and Diamond Deck have both been impressive but I must admit I don't have alot of interest in this race and most likely will not bet in it Pepperwood might be able to improve back to Eagle Farm but he would need to aswell. Not really interested here but if forced to pick I might go with Diamond Deck slightly over Kyros doubt there is much value in this race

Race 6: Hard to knock Eskimo Queen on her last run but that doesn't mean she is any certainty to take this out either I still feel that My Ladys Chamber has the ability to win a race like this I am just not sure I can line up again although it looks asthough the odds will be there to have a go again, Fuji Fantasy is a nice horse and could easily win this and Doug's Mate has been hitting the line strongly nearly every outing this prep. Will look for value out of My Lady's Chamber, Fuji Fantasy & Doug's Mate would say tyhat i might have a stab at both My Lady's Chamber and Doug's Mate as I think the odds will be better for those 2

Race 7: This is another tough race with a stack of chances lrish Sky was a big win 1st up in OZ and a repeat would see it go real close here but there are others with huge claims here Enrique was great fresh goes well 2nd up and loves Eagle Farm I just cannot trust the jock, after that I am giving chances to a couple of horses fresh back in Brissie in Magic Marvo & Smart and Mighty they are both good enough to win thisas does Mr. Hornblower. Not sure where I am going in this race will once again look for value in the horses I have mentioned would like double figure odds to entertain anything in this

Race 8: I don't mind Accumulate here he was a quality horse and looks to be regaining his old form his dangers IMO come from Ice Chariot, Pentathon & Grand Zulu if it can ever take the next step instead of being a nice run in a race and actually win one for a change one i a sick of waiting for. Accumulate and Ice Chariot are the 2 I like here but if Pentathon is ridiculos odds again then I might go with him

Best Bets: Legendary Man

Best E/W: Rosa's Spur

Best Roughie: Alberto (Who knows but is 80-1 on fixed odds)

Good Luck

Eskimo Queen (Qld Oaks) is the best bet at Eagle Farm. Two wins and two placings from only 4 starts in NZ, the last being a win over 1600m carrying 57kgs.

She settled well back in the Doomben Roses, but then absolutely flew past most of today's rival, only just failing to catch Lasoron.

The longer trip and the bigger track suit ideally. Only bad luck will beat her.

She's a genuine $2.5 chance.

Can't believe the odds Rosa's Spur paid there today her last win was devastating and today she was even better always ran into trouble in the good mares races in Sydney and looked like she might again today for a second great ride by Williams and the further they went the further she was winning by

I actually wanted to back Rum Corps have alot of respect for Luke Currie but the fact it was a Tassie horse with no wet track form I decided to stay right out of it decided to go for Pepperwood here as a roughie seeing as I aint going to lose today now anyway.

well done Raw and Filante ..,,shocker for me today...had 12 bets without a single winner,,just a couple of trifecta collects..
still have Real Mak later on at Belmont but even with a win i'm still in a hole..
alot of hard luck stories today in running ,,its going to be an interesting video study..
How good was Nova Star ,,wow the horse is flying ,,sat wide and still quikened.
Back to the drawing board,,have a few running around tomorow so i'm hoping i've used up all my bad luck...

hope you all jagged a winner or two,,as Crash said its been a tough month in brissie.

Skinned alive for mine, R7 Is Amazing went down taking my last leg and chance of a recovery in a three leg All-Up....and there's nothing worse than constant near misses is there to rub it in.
