Some nice longshots in the top 3 today , in Murray Bridge El Cartero was the 2nd rater and won paying around $20 on NSWTAB and $34 on SUPERTAB plus top rater running 2nd (Kurt).

Also in Murray Bridge Headache was the 2nd rater and duly saluted at around $16 plus top rater finishing second (Quite Easy).

At Randwick the last was won by Gwendolyn at around $22 but was the 5th rater.

At Doomben the 3rd rated horse in Race 7 Kulnura saluted at around $13.

So all in all not a bad day for the ratings with some nice priced winners and some very nice exotics.

your ratings seem interesting and as mine they produce some great winners at long odds in the top 5.

Have you a particular staking plan and if you are interested in comparing notes on the ratings would be interesting.

I have a theory which i think is correct so if you would like to discuss the way which we can profit from the ratings contact me or let me know.

I noticed some reaces where i miss out you get a good restlt and vice versa eg miss martindale xr8. sr8 zabarra

Sorry i missed this posting , just saw it when i was going back looking at all my results and adding them up.

At the moment i haven't worked out a staking plan , still working on the ratings but i was going through the recent results just now to try and work out something to make them quite profitable.

I would love to hear your theories on how to maximise profits.

have you calculated your strike rates in terms of raters eg. rating 1 say won seven races out of 20 races etc and the average div. generally the top 5 produce about 80% winners is that what you find.

Have you looked at where the field size may mean that win betting is more appealing than trifecta betting.

As a general rule i have found that say 13 and above is ok for trifectas with dividends etc. pending on the prices of the ratings but smaller fields win betting is profitable too.
