SKY Channel Access

Low and behold! I try to access SKY Racing Channel through my 3G mobile and it does not show Sydney or Melbourne races anymore!

What is going on? Only last week it was there in all it's glory, but now it's gone!

I can not access any races from New South Wales, any races from Victoria. I can not even access races from England or Hong Kong on my mobile phone now!

I am not happy at all with this.

The new owners of the rights is TVN. It will be up to them if they allow Tabcorp to restore the vision, and if it returns it may also incur a cost I believe, we'll see.

It really sucks. Many many people love the convience of watching SKY online or on their mobile phones. If TVN allows access at TAB outlets then why not on mobile phones and the internet too? That is what I do not really understand.

Now we can not watch Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, England, Victoria, and New South Wales. That is a huge chunk of what the TAB coverages.

I use NSWTab skychannel, does this mean i will miss over half the races

Shaun, same thing. Been like that for about 10 days.

What was a laugh is that I called Tabcorp last Wednesday to tell them that when they stop the vision of syd/mlb races(which is manually done)
they were forgetting to switch it back on immediately after, which sometimes meant missing the start of the next race!
Anyway, the customer service lady didn't know about stopping of the syd/mlb vision! So she put me on hold for nearly 5 mins,
then came back and read a statement which was already on the Tabcorp website. Don't they have internal emails sent when changes like this occur?http://www.propun.com.au/racing_forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Can anyone confirm if ALL NSW and Victoria races are blacked out, or just the metropolitan meetings?

I tried to watch Canterbury, and Ballarat today but none was available for viewing.

I guess it is back to listening to the races on Qtab radio, not so bad and a bit easier on the pc as well.
