Unbeaten filly Military Rose can end a home- track hoodoo and fulfil a career ambition for trainer Gillian Heinrich in the $2 million Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast today. <!-- google_ad_section_end(name=story_introduction) --><!-- // .story-intro --><!-- google_ad_section_start(name=story_body, weight=high) -->
Local hero Snippets won the inaugural Magic Millions in 1987 and remains the only Gold Coast-trained galloper to win the glamour juvenile race.
Snippets was trained by Sally Rogers and was the only horse she had in work.
Heinrich has never even had a placegetter in the Magic Millions but said she has never saddled up a better winning chance than Military Rose.
"This filly is definitely the best live chance I've ever had," Heinrich said.
