Legalistic for the Blue Diamond

Thought I'd throw a spanner in the works and suggest an outsider for the Blue Diamond.

LEGALISTIC

My reasoning is this:

David Hayes is an excellent trainer of two year olds and especially Group 1's.

2yo 242 17% 377 26% 1437 $24,128,010 -2,088 -14.5%

-G1 8 17% 11 23% 48 $14,642,250 225 46.9%

Legalistic has untapped potential winning its first race by 7 lengths.

Hayes knows how to win the Blue Diamond.

Currently $21 with the TAB.

Interesting pick there mate I have had something on it was a big fan of the mother Legally Bay she was a really good mare and she seems to have past some of the ability onto this young bloke she also went close to placing in a slipper behind Polar Success if my memory serves correct i amnot certain there.

My top pick is Star Witness loved Starcraft as a horse and this fellow certainly seems to have some ability really loved the wya he flattened out last start and if he gets some cover in this I really think he can fly over the top of them.

I'll box Star Witness with Beneteau and one other in Quinella's and tri's with Legalistic.

I've had a cheeky bet. Nothing serious but I have marked in my blackbook to follow Hayes two year olds and I loved it's first win. It was effortless, with hopefully plenty in the tank for Saturday. Just need Rawiller to give him a sweet ride from the 12 barrier.....

Raw Instinct, I did my dough on that race unfortunately.

Great tipping though mate!!

It was a monumental performance indeed! I was watching Star Witness the whole race as he was traveling with Legalistic at the back. Must have made up 10 lengths in the straight (as you probably know ha ha)

You must have loved the price in the end.

I went exotic and didn't have Shaaheq in anything.

Anyway......

As for Legalistic, a credible 5 length 8th. Time will tell if he's anything.....
