Tuff race for mind. I won't be having a bet. A lot of experts tend to say 2yo's are excellent to bet on. I am not an expert, but in my experiences, I keep getting burnt betting on 2yo's.

I might get up 3 hours later then you guys / gals in the east, but I do not understand why Hasna is so short.

I realise she has won her last 3 in convincing fashion, but she is stepping up to 1200m and has drawn barrier 13.

04 DANBIRD will do me for my top selection. Well drawn, Greg Childs on top, just getting warmed up at the finish last start & meets likely 2nd fav (How Funny) 1 kg better for a 1.6len defeat.

09 DANZOIR next best. Tony McEvoy trained colt, well drawn & last start smart winner over 1200m at Sandown.

11 HOW FUNNY third pick. Strong winner over 1200m at Doomben last start, drawn towards the middle of the field (could have been worse).

Also going to include (in my novelties) 01 EXPRESS BALL & 02 IMPERIALISM. Both not well drawn but expect both to run out a strong 1200m, in a race where there is likely to be plenty of pace on throughout.

And I've left the favourite out - could be embarrassing! :oops:

Hasna looks a special to me. (One of us is going to look silly Perth Placegetter!) Has the Gai Waterhouse polish, been very impressive last three starts & last start ran quicker time than the lads carrying a whopping 60.5kg. Don’t think all that badly drawn either.

The two Dans - Danbird and Danzoir do look strong chances with their good draw.

For the first4 also include Spinning Boy, another drawn a good marble.

for mine it's How Funny.... not with a lot of confidence tho... Helter Skelter impressed me with its last start, could be there at the finish

I think (4) Danbird will be very hard to beat , great barrier (7) which should enable G Childs to get him on the fence about midfield and watch all the leaders go past him from their outside barriers and set up a hectic pace.

(17) Snippy for second , same reasons as Danbird , but should be a bit closer to the lead.

(2) Imperialism for third at nice odds , unlucky to beat Danbird last start.

(14) Charmview best of the rest.

I'm with you Sandgroper , left out Hasna and picked Danbird , Let's hope we're right.
