(15) Fine Society - beat most of these last start and looks the one to beat again.

(1) St Reims - from NZ winner 5 from 9 including 3 over this distance.

(3) Hydrometer primed to show his best.

(14) Fountain Abbey - my longshot and another from NZ. Easily beaten by St Reims last start but has still followed that horse over for this race so connections must think he has some chance.

I agree Ra Sun i don't think Fine Society can win either, but then again Betty Boop is tipping her and the way she has been tipping you can't really argue with her.

My selections:

(3) Hydrometer - I think he is really primed for this after the run in the Canterbury Guineas where just gave out in the final stages, we know he is a class horse, has Barrier 4 and D.Oliver aboard.

(4) Beaver - Stromed home from well back in the Canterbury Guineas, the jockey probably waited to long to get going after Fine Society passed him and is probably primed for this as well, Barrier 1, D.Beadman and J.Hawkes not a bad combination.

(5) Clangalang - Good run behind Thorn Park 2 starts back and struck some interference in the Canterbury Guineas at about the 600m mark still managed 7th btn 4.2L.

My Roughie would have to be (16) Sunday Joy.

Leaving (1) St Reims out, i can't get Leica Guvs effort out of my head from last year and they similar formlines.

Cheers.

Fine Society has a strangle hold ion this race.

Strasbourg is no chance and won't run a place.

....but I've been wrong before.

Well done to those that picked the winner!

I was right about Strasbourg, but Fine Society finished behind it, so perhaps Fine Society is a bit overrated.

(probably by me!)
