Please note we have a strict poicy on defamation.

From our Forum posting guidelines:

The following types of postings are not acceptable.
Potentially defamatory or libellous. This especially relates to the identifying of businesses, racing products, racing personalities or other individuals in a context that could harm reputations, even if justified.

The above, for example, means we will not allow a post identifying a jockey and calling him/her a rat, accusing the jockey of deliberately throwing a race or accusing the jockey of anything else illegal.

Should you wish to discuss the current issue of jockeys wagering on horses, then this discussion needs to be in very general terms. We do not want any jockey named or hinted at in any way.

The Multi Billion Dollars mainstream media sees what it televises or publishes in advance and can comfortably deal with law suits worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Should you make a defamatory post, it puts both us, as the publisher, and you, as the writer, at risk of legal action for defamation.

So your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

We will have no hesistation in suspending Members who think it's OK to use our Forum Service to defame others.

Should you see what you believe is a defamatory post please send in a TOU. Click the red outlined triangle at the top right of the post.

Thank you.
