Our Smoking Joe was a certainty beaten last start and gets in well at the weights here, he is very good on his day and the extra distance suits amicably, any rain around and he's nearly a special. Don't be surprised if Gallic runs a great race at odds, he is pretty smart, hasn't too much weight, and suggestions are he's been training superbly.

Delzao is the forgoton horse here....I'm going find his last few runs on video to see how hes goin..would like to know who's riding him..
Skewiff will appreciate the weight ..but like her better against her own sex..not sure she's well placed here..

has modem been taken over by lee freedman or has he always had it? i was under the impression that modem was a WA horse over here for the autumn.

Was trained in WA by Trevor Andrews.
Recently transferred to Lee Freedman.
From what I can gather will remain over east indefinitely.

Looked to me that the likely race outcome completely changed with that interferance last bit. Modem one of the worst sufferers.

The run of Barely a Moment was definitely an interesting one, with Mr Shinn attempting to set the pace and getting mowed down into the straight. He also tried a similiar tactic on Songs of Vienna and came close.
