Only just .....Ive watched a bit of him over the last 12 months or so and hed changed his swing he seemed to have an abreviated follow through almost like a Knock down or Punch shot ...that has been less evident in this tournament

Well done to Tiger, but bad luck to DiMarco. He very nearly won it on the 18th with that chip shot that hit the hole.

No, I'm not supposed to say any more after the fact what I backed. But let's just say that this was the first time in a while I've actually backed someone to win and that worked out okay.

ha ha very cute Sportz your about as funny as a pocket full of funnelwebs .......TOUR TIPS picked Luke Donald and Retief Goosen for the top five ....they seem to do alright with their selections and they even have em up a few days before the event lol
I had to edit ...I forgot the Z at the end of your name

Yes, they do. Unfortunately, I didn't take quite enough notice of them this week. :o
I did include Donald in one of my minor bets though and he's definitely a top player of the future. By the way, they mentioned David Duval during the TV coverage. What on earth happened to him? What a huge downward slide from a few years ago.

From what I read or heard a year or so ago he had huge domestic problems at one stage that put his career on hold then he came back but just never seemed to recover from it ........................as you know golf is very much attitudinal(is there such a word ?)especially at that level

Very much so an attitudadal...lol...Awesome display from Tiger,Dimarco maybe would have won if it was any other player other than tiger chasing him. Awesome tournament though every year.......Very dissapointed with ernie, but their camp said he couldnt get out of bed for 3 days prior to the 1st days play, apparently had the flu bad.....Not ideal preparation one wouldnt think>......Oh well theres always next year....

Yeah, it would have been great to know that about Ernie BEFORE we put our money on him.

Yeah well they streeted the rest of the field ...when they end up in a virtual matchplay situation like that the scoring can tend to suffer a bit .

Floydy,
Tour Tips tipped Darren Clarke among their 3 selections this week and I was going to back them. Unfortunately, this tournament must be starting earlier than usual and when I went to put on a few bets on Thursday night, betting was already suspended, so I missed out. Didn't think it was worth bothering after round 1. Well, now Clarke is 6 shots in front after 2 rounds. :(
