While we're all in this touchy feely mood, I would like to thank Kenchar for unknowingly turning me around on something.
As we all know he stops when ahead, a strategy that I didn't agree with.
However, when I was on holidays, I had time to think about what he was saying. Since Betfair started, I've been mainly making books against the favourite(s), with some success. The long hours & risks were making the profits hard earned & some days were very stressful.
I now break my days (24 hours) into 3 parts. Part 1 is the USA racing, part 2 the Oz racing & part 3 (sometimes) the UK racing. When I'm in front on US, I stop. When in front on Oz, I stop, and same again on the UK.
I use the stat that more favs win early on & start betting from race 5 onwards, and usually don't need to work any more than 3 or 4 races
Here's to you Kenchar.
ps 14 days in a row profit since starting 14 days ago.
pps AR5 today, won & out.
