The top 3 '1st Up-Starters' for Sunday are listed below.
It appears that this factor can not be used in isolation, kinda thought as much..

CANTERBURY R5 H1 Silver Truce - First Up: 1:1-0-0 - 100%
CANTERBURY R4 H2 All Elegance - First Up: 4:2-1-0 - 62.5%
CANTERBURY R4 H8 Forum Floozie - First Up: 1:0-1-0 -50%

Silver Truce is unsuited for the Dead track and seems to be unfit right now although he has a gear change, blinkers are off, not sure if that will help though.

All Ellegance has a 40% win strike rate and has placed on a Dead track. Carrying a bit of weight (57.5kg) but has Cassidy aboard.

Forum Floozie has only had the one official run but I did find results of 2 Trials over 800m on a Dead track where he ran 2nd & 3rd. The 2nd was with Quinn, todays jockey aboard. Hmm

I'm thinking All Ellegance is the best of the tree, but better value might be in Forum Floozie.
Anyone's thoughts would be appreciated..

Silver Truce stopped and went backwards.

Maybe you could apply the following rules:
1. Must have 50% win record 1st up or 75% place record.
2. Place dividend of $2+
3. Less than 57kgs
4. Top 6 by $$$/race

Bet for a place. Good luck whatever you do.
