I'm not a big fan of place betting but whilst researching another system i kept noticing this pattern,i think it has big time potential.


*To qaulify the horse must be the only horse in the first 8 lines of pre post betting and not those plus $15 pre post that has had 21 race starts or less.

Thats it,simple but brilliant,you will be betting on good young horses racing against horses who more than likely have their best form behind them.

If someone wants to play around with you could maybe try reducing the lines of betting to first 6 or first 4,at this stage i'm happy with first 8 l.o.b but time will tell.

21 seems a fair amount of starts. What about 10 or 15???

I work off 21 for another system but 10 or 15 might work well.

I'd imagine there would be a lot more bets though,i'd try 18 first and see how it goes.

If one sticks to the 21 starts or less rule this approach doesnt come up with many bets and in the last week or so there has been hardly any,yesterday however came up with 3 selections.(br,mr,sr & ar only)

BR5 -10 STEPPING Won $7.90 & $2.40

BR6 -10 UNBOUND Unp

AR7 -15 WAVEFRONT Won $4.70 & $2.30

I wish i had the time to put the needed research into this but i'm in the middle of a big project atm,i'll keep an eye on it of course and try to post some selections before they race if i get the chance but if someone can see the potential i can in this approach and wants to provide daily selections feel free.

AR 5 - 9 Toms Vision

VR 6 - 3 Blue Ribbons (geelong)

The more i think about this the less i think it is a place system,long term win betting would make more sense.
