Gday All
attached is an excel file of the four trainers I think we can safely follow and maybe make some cash in the process..The file covers from June 1 till today (inclusive) Remember these guys Joe Pride, John O'Shea Mark Mason and Craig Martin, as they are GOOD and you will have lots of fun with em... I have been betting them 1*4 with a unit being 10 bucks and at the moment we are in nice profit.. watch it plummet now I have posted em :)

An interesting angle, XPT. Those figures are very good.:)
May I ask where you get the starters for any particular day? I know of the AAP site; but I thought that there may be some other site with a 'search' facility ???
Thanks.

I dunno If I can spruik another site here... but there is a well establsihed Race site on the net that provides blackbook notification by email a day or 2 in advance.. You can have horses or trainers... I think they may even have a jockey blackbook as well (not sure on that one).. I hope that helps

Gday All
Pimpala Player failed to place in an early race at Randwick, but Primus bolted in at $3.5/$1.5.. when Beadman isn't riding for O'shea you will get a couple of points better on the tote... ah well
Wyong cup day had Irongail run 2nd to the old Taree galloper Carael Boy and paid $1.2... Our other runner for the day, Breeze Past, didnt place..
There are no runners that I am aware of, at this time for Sunday and Monday, but there will be a few at Tamworth on Tuesday where Craig Martin and Mark Mason will have runner/s.. Overall betting 1X4 the profit stands at 14.6%.. whereas win only is 10.28% in profit... so these blokes are still going fairly well... at least I am doing no damage

I would love to see a black book site for SIRES. Would anyone else be interested in that? And believe it or not, Owners. This angle has been paying big divs at Saratoga and there are great stats concerning their horses. Flying Zee Stables is the leading owner at Saratoga for 2006 and when Robert Bone has one of his horses starting in California, you had better watch out. It is a tremendous handicapping tool that I don't think most people give enough credence to.

You can do that on Aussie racing here:
http://www.racenet.com.au/blackbook.asp
You can follow certain trainers, jockeys, sires or dams.

Thanks sportz! I figured that had to be out there somewhere. Even Dams, now that is very detailed. Does anyone know who the leading owners in OZ are? Magnier maybe? Does Michael Tabor have any horses down under?

O'Shea and Pride have a couple in each today...
7/09/2005 CANTERBURY Race 3 - No. 8 at 14:30 Golden Drake
7/09/2005 CANTERBURY Race 4 - No. 9 at 15:05 Gunna Happen
7/09/2005 CANTERBURY Race 5 - No. 4 at 15:40 Sugarbomb
7/09/2005 CANTERBURY Race 7 - No. 8 at 17:00 Breeze Past
Breeze Past is an interesting runner.. Is on a quick backup from Wyong last week after running a place at huge odds better than 13$ the place at warwick Farm a couple of weeks earlier (17/8)..
Golden Drake is having it's 6th start since early June.. it has run a couple of places in that time..
Gunna Happen last ran at Warwick Farm on 17/8 and ran a hole...
Sugarbomb ran at the same meeting and did the same.. ran a hole..
They are all non winners since June so maybe their time is drawing near.. or maybe they are duds :)

6/09/2005 WARWICKFARM Race 7 - No. 8 at 16:57 Le Bron
Unfortunately I read your post after I read this on racenet XPT.
A good old fashioned plunge was brought off today when the Joseph Pride-trained Le Bron won the Castanea 3YO+ C3 Handicap over 1300m.
Le Bron opened at $7.50 in the ring and continually firmed throughout betting to start $3.50 SP favourite.
After being three deep for the trip Le Bron hit the fromnt at the 150m and went on to a commanding win.
”That was awesome,” Pride said after the race.
”Right from day one he’s always shown us a bit.
”He wasn’t quite strong enough last time in but he’s really come into his own physically this preparation.
”He was quite forward today but there is improvement in him.
”Le Bron (G.Boss) defeated Pass The Bubbly ($4.20 SP) (Z.Purton) by one and a quarter lengths with No Doubt At All ($17 SP) (L.Cassidy) a short neck away in third.
The time for the race was 1.17.32 (last 600m in 35.61).
The win of Le Bron gave Glen Bss a winning treble after earlier wins aboard the Frank Cleary-trained Thunderbird Hill and Clontaago for Gwenda Markwell.
Meanwhile, Pride’s outstanding mare, Irongail has been transferred to leading Victorian trainer Lee Freedman as she becomes ready to become a mother.
Irongail will be served later in the year by Desert King and while Pride was disappointed he was understanding of the situation.
”She’s gone down to Lee [Freedman] for her last couple of runs before being served by Desert King.” he said.
”For me to have taken her to Victoria for the last few runs of her career would have been a costly exercise for Ross [Williams - owner] so it’s better for Ross and the mare she goes to Lee.”
