I know there is no such thing as a good thing, but the Eels smashing the broncos this week would have to be close.I hear that the broncos have got loads of injury problems and are even considering bringing in some Toowoomba Clydesdales.
Havent got a price yet but will be going 13+ and line bet
What do you reckon it will be.Cant see the EELS being more than $1.15 H2H
and $160 13+,start will be around -18.5=$1.90

Don't know, Rabz. You might get better odds than you think. This is the Broncos we're talking about remember, consistently the most over-rated team in the competition.

Even when they were 6 points in front and clear premiership favourites, I still didn't rate them, simply because EVERY year it's the same old story. They just continue to collapse in a heap in the last part of the season. Ever since winning in 2000, the story's been exactly the same.

13+ For sure.

Newcastle in an upset over the Dragons. I heard Cooper is out this weekend.

Add in the fact that the Knights are desperate to get off the bottom of the table and they are a real chance.

I honestly don't think that would be such a big upset.

What an incredible situation. Here's a team that could very well win the wooden spoon and they're just about the most in form team in the comp. And Souths aren't going too bad either! WEIRD!!!

It's such an open comp and any team can win on any given day. We had the strange situation where last week Penrith were a chance to make the 8 AND also a chance to win the spoon!!!

Can't see how any of you could tip Knights to beat Dragons.IMO Saints will slaughter them.Broncos/EEls also may not be the foregone conclusion everyone seems to think.Wouldn't surprise me if Lockie plays.Bunnies a good chance to beat the Sharks with Ben Walker back, geez they missed his kicking game against the Cowboys.
Wests Tigers got the wake up call they needed and can still figure.
Really can't see Cowboys or Broncos being in the Grand final.
My trifecta of Grand final contenders is Saints/Eels/Tigers.
Can't leave one out so am backing Saints/Eels
Saints/Tigers
Eels/Tigers

Eels $1.22
Broncos $4.20

I guess there will be a betting splurge on the handicap markets. Too bad this games not live.would of being a great match to watch.

Im looking forward to the canberra/Manly game.A match worthy of desperation. honestly this match is an unpredictable and could go either way.

Tabsportsbet is not betting on Handicap in the eels match at the moment as the broncos may rest a lot more players and the make up of the team might not be known for a while yet,

the saints will NOT slaughter the knights, but they should win, the knights have always had 2 bogey sides, roosters and saints, even at full strength and with johnsy the saints always seem to have them covered. I'll be tipping the saints, but i'll be cheering the knights to knock them off, still reckon the eels have them covered in the grand final though.

Changed my mind, the knights WILL beat those chokers the dragons, they choked in the 99 G/F and done nothing since then [except choke that is]a few of the knights players were at wyong races yesterday and are very confident of winning and i think there is gunna be payback in this game as it was a couple of dragon players that targeted johns in 2002,2003 and put him out for the rest of the season, notably knees in the back by 1 certain player, hopefully they can repay the favour :D, When the eels wrap up the minor premiership and brownie gets the ****************s and slap a few more players , he might decide to rest some "so called" stars.

cheers

Looks like Webcke will start in this game and a couple of others that where under an injury cloud are possible starters too.

The Eels will be strengthened with the return of Morrisson and Tahu.

Broncos will burst the Eels bubble and wrap up the minor premiership, get on now.Knights should have stayed at Wyong races coz they aint gonna be no payback, they gonna get their arse kicked(if Barrett can keep his gear on).

In my opinion the knights havent been that far off beating the saints. However Johns hais in form. The knights are on a game winning streak and are fired up.The start of the season was a totally different game. Just look at Manly now. Im backing the knights this week.

As for the eels/broncos game I still wouldnt touch the handicap markets. Currently $1.90 for -13.5 Its a big game, for the minor premiership.I dont think itll be an easy eels thrashing game. They are both playing for the title. Although its a full strength eels team,we are talking about the broncos here..Lockyer or not finals footy and minor premiership is a different story.undecided, lets see tonight.

They're playing in about 4 hours time, SS. They're 2nd favourite to win the comp behind the Dragons.
