I dont think I would be the only person who feels a bit hollow after purchasing a Scanner programe package from QLD.
In the last couple of months I initially Won $1,200 but have recently Lost $4,700.
Is there anyone who knows of somebody who can get results from these programes ? (no matter how meagre the result).
I dont want to talk to the sales/support,as they are not REAL LIVE traders using their own hard earned cash.
Any leads appreciated.

I noticed my program ID's were edited from this Forum The Forum is not set up so anonymous members of the public may clearly identify businesses or individuals and then say, "This business is operating a scam" or "The product sold by this business or individual is rubbish. I paid thousannds for it and got ripped off etc. etc.." nor for others to post comments like that when asked about a business/individual/product.
This invites legal action for defamation.
Posters are welcome to give a very rough outline of what they think might be a scam etc. or something they are querying, without naming or clearly identifying the business or individual, in order to ask what others think about it.
Clues about the identity of the business or individual such as providing an address, or a name with a few letters missed out, are not permitted.
The Forum is not set up for anonymous people to publish in public whatever they wish about named or clearly identified businesses at OZmium's expense and legal risk.
The South Australian Government lists a number of alleged scams at http://www.ocba.sa.gov.au/scams/05_getrich.html (http://www.ocba.sa.gov.au/scams/05_getrich.html)
However, legal action cannot be taken against the South Australian Government, because it has passed laws protecting itself from legal action. These laws do not apply to businesses like us.

Moderator 3,
Stop shouting on just about every post that gets posted !

I think Moderator 3 gets a little carried away.
All Doug said was I won some then lost some. That's hardly accusing someone of operating a scam.
Every program/system/method is going to have winning & losing streaks. That's why it's called gambling.
If someone wrote 'I went to Melbourne races and am feeling a little hollow because I won £200 then lost $600', would the mods edit out Melbourne in case the track started legal action?

Thanks Dolus,
I ran it again last night and lost another $300 - down to $1,200 in pool now
(not including purchase).
I just thought this may be the best site to find someone who has been through the same and whats some good advise.
In essence the programme works, I think its a matter of knowing ur race meets.
I think I'll take it up the ar_e and stick to old fashioned hard work.
The moneys one thing, but the countless hours in front of a Screen, ignoring the family, and mental torment takes its toll.
Sorry if I have offended anyone.

Feel free to stick it up me,as no doubt some of you will relish the opportunity to do so,but I am tired of reading EDITED posts about simple morons who part with large amounts of their hard earned in the quest of the HOLY GRAIL via computer scams,NOT schemes, and then come on this forum looking for help/advice/sympathy/etc.The moderators are simply doing their job and protecting legalities,so why are you venting your spleen on them?If you were naive/gullible/stupid enough to buy one of these "get rich quick"schemes, admit that you were a dickhead, you did your dough and go away and lick your wounds.Don't bleed on here.Good on you moderator3,whoever you may be.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Doug - I am no fan of those systems.
Their certianly seems to be a lot of talk about, what should we call them, unprofitable racing systems at the moment. I recently read the following comments made by Bill Dozer of the Sportsbookreview in relation to these sort of systems. I think it is a beauty:
...Ideally, when we are handed a turd in a chocolate wrapper we would smell it before we bite. Unfortunately for some of us we have to learn the hard way leaving the experience with a bad taste in their mouths...
Hopefully the Moderator is too tired from editing everyone elses posts and will leave mine alone - only kidding.

Is there any site that lists and updates the latest version of scam racing programs?
The problem with the "get ritch quick" govt sites is that they are out of date. Most times the programs have been rebadged and are on the market under a different name.

angel417,
Before you offer freebies, I hope you've shaved that hairy back of yours, you know how hard it is to keep clean, or are you one of those weedy pimple squeezin guys who's a legend on the net ?
I too am sick of reading "un-edited", "basic" neandethal replies on public forums (designed to "inform" not "deform" a common interest group).
Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the "sports betting systems " forum isn't it ?
One of my best traits mechanically or mathematically is making things that don't work - "work" (it's a good way to make a living) .
In the situation I am in now the best way (and heres some free advise) "ask questions". "DO NOT" do as angel suggests and lick your wounds "BEFORE" you are beaten. I still have $1200 or should I say Punches left. If they are your last punches, make every one count (work out the best way to use them).
Moderator 3,
You didn't have to explain your stance on ID's (easy to work out why) and thanks for the tip on SA (if ever required).
Obviously due to the boredom of some I'm not the first to be looking here for wisdom.
Kenchar,
In your opinion (or anyone else who knows Puntz) does he seem to know these programes, or are you taking the piss ?
mad,
Yes there is a funny taste in this chocolate, just hoping there's Caramel (wisdom) in the middle.
To all else,
Avagoodweekend.

Fraid not, what does it mean? :-) By reading many posters, (some current, some archived) some ideas and concepts have come and gone.
Yet nothing seemingly was done to construct an idea and test the result, had it been a program.
The idea by one poster I read somewhere, where all contributors benefit, including programmers, punters, beta tetsers was somewhat discarded as pure crap and could not be done.
Yet however, since that idea of this particular concept was posted, there have been several doom and gloom posts of "racing programs" being rip-offs.
Had some of these ideas been acted upon, it may have prevented the preceeding rip-offs ( as posted, and Moderate 3'd) in the first place !
Therefore, the "ticket" was there ( idea, initiative) but many "missed the bus", perhaps because looking for other lesser alternatives and missed the obvious !
Nothing has eventuated since anyway, so many are still at the
"bustop"(here) waiting for the "bus"( ideas and innovators *with* sound soultions) that has already past and gone.
If this Puntz and others, have these stats. and expirience then why were they evicted ?
In Puntz's case, it seems his only "crime" was "laymans terminology", according to posts our team has read.

Puntz is a real trier and I know how much he has put into the programme he is developing and I wish him all the success in the world for his tireless effort.
He was a very entertaining member of the forum.
Some of his posts were a bit screwy at times but I used to get a good laugh out of them, and I have a strong suspicion that might have been the brand of cigs he smoked  .
The main thing his heart is in the right place and would help if he could.
I have been offered privately the ins to his programme which I declined as I go OK my way.
Cheers
