I have noticed International All Sports, Mark Reads betting site will take bets for the Fav or the Field on nominated races.
Example: Canterbury Race 2
There offering $2.10 for the Fav & $1.66 for the Field
Has anyone looked into this form of betting ?
What are your thoughts...?

I think it's an untapped resource of profit!
If you are selective on races where you "pot" the fave, you could make big bucks.
E.G. The whole racecard on a heavy track at Sandown.

Yea,
Looks promising...
But, they do seem to be very selective. They havent posted any odds for Moonee Valley or any other race apart from Canterbury race 2 for that matter.

It could also be a useful way of increasing your return on raging favourites. eg. Lonhro last start (beat Athens and Moonflute) paid $1.20 the win. Read gave $1.30. If this is standard, maybe you win bettors should be tapping in?

According to DAS rules they will provide you with a market for FAV vs FIELD on any race you request. This market is gauranteed to be set to between 106-108% (how often do you see this??).
There is a catch however, if they quote you a market you have to have a bet on either the field or the favourite (it would seem this only applies to the telephone bettors).
You will notice their fixed odds are generally called pre-post until 20 mins prior to race when it switches to normal fixed odds. This is probably when they post a market for this bet type?
If you're good at it, you can see the advantage though with the very good % bet.
