I need to test a staking plan for place betting so am looking for ides on selecting horses to place i need about 70%-80% place strike rate....i have always tested in real time so no back testing....any ideas would be great

If one is interested in place betting , it is imperitive to target races with
8-12 runners only. No matter what system one uses.

Heres a plan that has a 68% SR.
Bet the Radio TABQ first selection in races with 8-12 runners .
Horse must have had 2+ career starts.

Try & target horses with a win price of $3.00+ so as to get some value out of the place div.

Bhagwan, 68% s/r is brilliant for such a simple plan, only $1.50 divi needed to slightly better break even, with BEST tote etc available that should be attainable.

Are those stats based on 7-days, or selected days and venues?
