Hi Starcraft,
I was under the impression that The Big Fella would not be having another run until The Breeders' Cup meeting on October 29th. From memory, SKY showed the entire meeting last year, so I'm sure you'll get your chance to see him race this year if similar agreements between SKY and the overseas owners of the "telecast rights" are renewed.
A website highlighting this brilliant day's racing can be found here ...

Thanks, dundas, now I won't have to camp out in a sports bar all night due to the 3am curfew in Brisbane for nothing. Would anyone happen to know if the Casino has SKY channel in Brisbane? Or where a 24 hour SKY venue is?

Hi Starcraft,
Just occurred to me that I may have watched the 2004 Breeders' Cup meeting via coverage provided by ESPN and not as I suggested on SKY!
With Alinghi possibly joining Starcraft on the card, I'd hope that Sky would be trying to secure the rights to this year's coverage anyway; here's hoping.
Apologies for the mislead.

Dude, a mislead in advance is not a true mislead. So what the hell is ESPN? Can I view it publicly? I'm prepared to spend a night camping somewhere, but I just have nfi where to go! Is it just another channel like Sky and Foxtel?

You little beauty! So does anyone know what time this race will be shown in Australia, and if it will mean a different date due to the time difference? So far I have ESPN Channel on Foxtel on 29 October. I'm serious about not missing him this time...
