Brisbane race9.... not even form students were required to see what unfolded in this race....no more for me!
They're kidding!!.......
If you wonder why betting turnover on horse racing, particularly Brisbane, is diminishing then use this race as a guide!
Any form students reviewing this race ....I would appreciate your observations.
N.B. the camera(video) cannot lie!

Gday xanadu

I didnt see it, but from what I can work out the hot pot missed the jump and then it was all over... Form says Hulk Hogan was a special... and just wins.. the 9/10 price would suggest the punters were saying the same thing... so what happened?

I was busy so I didn't see or hear the race. All I know is that I rated Hulkhogan a special, but I had Scenic Wells and Viscay Star 2nd & 3rd and thought they were both very attractive odds. I was pleased with the win dividend for Viscay Star.

Unfortunately, ALWAYS expect the unexpected in racing from Sunday

To Friday. One thing i have always looked at is how many Short odds

Favourites have got up in that meeting on the day.

If there already is one/two already your taking a Huge risk !!!

(also, big fields such as last in Bne never help)

Obviously this can apply to Saturday racing too, But when the stakes

Are higher the more the Right horses should win.

In saying this there still is money to be made in the Midweeks.

I hope ive made you feel better, FYI i was on the Hulk too , But

With church money in all-ups/quins. Soon as he missed the start

I smiled and new what was going on !!!!!

Yeah fellow sufferers,

The fav missed the start(isn't that a regular occurrence with well fancied runners?), then ridden hard to catch up and then ran into "traffic" just extricating itself in the last few 100m's to just miss a place.
Whoooah!....wasn't it unlucky?
The camera cannot lie and I will be reviewing this race in great detail.
Any thoughts on this race?
Yeah Dazz, you and we fellow sufferers Knew what was going on didn't we?

Cheers.

hey pplz

il be honest with yas... i had a quick look at the form, and i personally thought viscay star looked a very big chance. i saw his odds and jumped on it straight away... last start winner in a 1400m welter.. what else can you ask for going into a 1300m welter..

not often i agree with you Xanadu but i do this time...it was a shocking ride ..he could of tailed dont tell clang into the race nicely but tried to go through runners with such a monster of a horse underneath him..
fair enough he missed the start but i'm of the opinion the Hulk was still easily good enough if given room on the outside to wind up he wins..
I think he's a class above that field and there was alot of smart money on him...
maybe if a kid was on him the Sh@t would of hit the fan ..but who'll question this stable..
havent seen the stewards report but it wil make intersting reading..
and i'm competely unbiased here as i dont take those sort of odds..

good run in the race was Don't Tell Clang....booker for sure..
but follow the Hulk ..he'll win some good races..
