yeh shaye spice rises 5.5 kg and has barrier 1 in an open field...i dont think so buddy...the jockey will have to be kickin its @ss to get it over the line in first place!

This is a difficult race, should be good value in the exotics.
I'm standing out Amandine (#7) with 1,2,5.
Good luck.

PS. Take it ten times ($30 for quinella).

I think Shaye Spice is a risk and the
R Cameron pair may fight it out.

All this commotion, I just had to have a look.
Looks pretty open to me, too bad they are not racing on a real racetrack. I would be looking for value, I agree we Terrym – like the chances of Aragonce & Bush Outlaw although both drawn wide, also like no. 10 Panorama Heights.

corvain is far too short at $5.60 (eventhough its pretty early)- you would want at least double figures in this open field!

hey i have a late tip for everyone out there who wants to be on a winner
WILL DEF PLACE AND PROBS WIN:
Rosehill
Race 7 no 6 laguna lake (get on it)---huge tip!
GREAT VALUE!!!
Melbourne
Race 7
no 4 Magic Ben
-will get an easy lead and shouldnt be pressured/ great run last start and drops 3.5 kg to similar field/ nice alley/ consistent/ likes the track and distance/ lowest its been in the weights for a while.... should be too good for this field
my prediction: Magic Ben by 1 length

Okay I missed the race, I see the 1,2 quinella combination but could someone tell me what happened with Amandine please? Poor race? Bad luck? Lousy Tip?
Thanks.

PS. I'm going to have to start spending more on my quinella outlays obviously.

I backed Amandine also PLacegetter , it just didn't seem to handle the ground did it?
I know it has won on wet ground but maybe those runs were against inferior opposition than todays.

Hmmmmmmmmmm..let's see, Shaye Spice went up in weights, but managed to hold on for a place......hmmmmm....where's that other horse?....eating clods...class prevails.

yeh i totally agree with you! corvain is a cat. shaye spice is a class horse but was not good value in its last race.

There will be some interesting comments in Punt to Win this week about an "expert" who said Shaye Spice was a certainty and the other horses were only going around for second and third.

Corvain was beaten for speed early on and with the rail out 6 meters (leader biased) had no real chance to even get into the race, let alone win. Besides, it was no real value at $4 out to $7.
I hope everyone thinks Corvain is a cat because that'll more than likely create value at the horse's next start. It might pay to take a contrarian view and forgive its failure (hard I know when you're talking through your wallet), especially if it's over the odds next time out.

It is interesting that nobody has made a comment regarding the winner - Aragonce.
Won the race by 3 lengths (= 4.5kg winning margin) and yet only received 2kg from the class (according to some other forum members) horse, Shaye Spice.

No disrespect to Corvain, or those who support Corvain, but maybe they shouldn't put him over the MV 1000m, when YOU nshould know he won't keep up. I would back Shaye Spice at the Valley anytime at any odds.
