Hi all,
Been a while been very busy,

my original dog thing although worked outstandingly, it called for some BIG bets, i have played with this for the last month and is making not as good profit, but the bets are less and less chance of busting,

operate on all dogs, trots.
dont look at odds,
just take 1,2,3,4, if one scratched, take subby, if no subby, next dog.
1 unit on all, therefore 4 units on that race,
loose, 1 again, loose again, 2, loose again, 2 again (sort of half martingale).
If we get a divy of say 4 or less, treat this as a nil pay, over 4 and treat this as a win and dont double up.
What im trying to do is "jag" the one that wins at say 12, usually there are a couple per meeting, if not 30-40. Sometimes they pay so well.
Have a look you might be surprised.
I use an online bookmaker so the div will be higher than "two tabs" payout so there is a little insurance there for odds.
also by only doubling bet at every second loss, we are not over inflating the pool on those four animals.
Cheers Dingo

Probably posted this on your other thread also but.

Why not concentrate on the 3,4,5,6. These are the best value in the race. By taking the 1, you are taking massive unders.

True and gday BJ,
I think it places like 50 % or something silly like that, unders yes, but it does return more often than the others. I know i wont retire on the dogs, but it does have some good points.
I did look at selecting overs for a while, often one tab would be 20 whilst onother would have the same at 10s, it changes so much it was too hard to jump from one tab to onother, i would love to find a booky that would give fixed prices on them, then id give it a shake.
