I have been somewhat critical of the short odds for Australia this summer, but IMO they are winning in sydney , no doubt. South africa wil struggle with two spinners and cant see aussies not making decent score.

will also have small bet on ponting to hi bat

I think draw would be a good bet right now.

Ricky should be telling his batsmen to just stay in, and aim to bat for all of tomorrow. With some luck we'll only have to bat out the final day for the draw. Only think about a win if the batsmen pull off something special tomorrow, and always be willing to fall back on the draw.

S.Africa are pretty good value at the moment I reckon. $3.35! If the scores were reversed (Aus 9-451, S.A 3-54), Australia would probably be about $1.25. Hussey and Ponting are both in terrific form. If one of them goes early, we're in BIG trouble. It's simply a case of whether S.Africa are good enough to bowl Australia out twice. We'll have to wait and see.

Usually IAS. Unfortunately, thanks to stupid government regulations, you're not allowed to bet in the run on the internet. You have to use the phone. :(

I almost always back the results pre match that I think are value and then, depending on the state of the match, I'll try to back other results during the game to produce a profit.

What sportsbooks do you use?

I use:

betandwin (boxing),
centrebet (australian sports),
pinnacle (everything else).

Cant beat pinnacle in my opinion, offers the best lines around.

This game is a draw. SA won't be able to put enough runs on the board without giving themselves a chance to bowl us out. We don't have enough time that we can restrict SA to a low score and win.
