Interesting. Thanks for that. Confirms my thoughts about Brendan Tupper.

Have you thought of also looking at how they would go if you put a dollar on each of their 3 selections in the race? Sometimes tipsters get some good results with their 2nd and 3rd selections.

I did notice that as I was compiling the results. Mal James especially has a knack for picking the winner as his second fav tip.

I'll go through maybe this weekend and let you know how it goes.

I was going to write a program to do it for me but I haven't got around to it yet.
Mostly becasue I have to reinstall the java SDK on my pc.

At the moment I have just done it day by day by hand. It doesn't take long only about 5 mins. They are available at the top of each race in unitab. One tipster does a whole meeting but not all meetings are covered.

If anyone has done any data stripping of info from the unitab pages and are willing to share some information it would be greatly appreciated if you could send me any help.

Chris Scholtz's of AAP Racing and Sports (Also does Sport 927 from) is also a good source of tips. I ran (deleted it) a database of his tips over a period of 6-8 month period and he was around 35-37% stike rate.

Take out his Saturday Metro tips and it was even better.... poor Chris seems to struggle in town for what ever reason.... (hope he doesn't read this :D )...........

I couldn't turn a big enough profit from his tips using level stakes and it wasn't much better (read loss) when using a system I had of coupling his selections (as a stand-out) with a few other well rated runners in the multi's..... maybe it was just me....!!! :(

Anyway, he's going well lately...... and when I can't be f'd looking over the form (or too busy at work), I'll check his tips for a "fix"....... (except Staurday's :D )

I have been slack keeping the tips up to date and am about a week behind but there have only been 2 tippers who I could recommend based on the figures I have seen and Brendan Tupper is definately one of them.

If you take his top 2 selections you would come out way ahead of any other tipper. I usually find his 2nd seleciton is the favourite and his first selection is slightly better priced but has a slower strike rate.
