I have been backing 3 horses in a race with some success. It makes a small level stakes profit.

There have been 45 bets for 12 winners from 15 races.

I need a spreedsheet to show the amount bet, the amount won the strike rate and a running balance plus the profit all at 1% og a $1000 bank.

Can anyone please help?Remember I'm betting 3 horses in the same race.

Fred,

You could do that in a Collins money column book [any newsagent] a lot quicker that into a spreadsheet program. 'Windows money' could be used if you like to be 'High Tech.' and have it all on computer [I'd use the exercise book and the money saved for betting].

Exercise books don't crash either.

Couldn't agree more Davez.

A thank you never hurt anyone.
The help handed out here on the forum should be appreciated by all.
I've certainly been very grateful for what has been freely given in the past.
And I've been the recipient of a helping-hand from you also.
All the best.

The reason I haven't got around to thankinu is that i'm having computer problems not to mention my isp conection -- it keeps disconecting every 10 minutes or so. My isp provider is working on the problem

I know its a bit late, but thanks.

Now, with the row used for the number of runners could that be increased because if i see a rave where theres value I'll take up to 10 horses.

Again, I'm sorry for not thanking you ealier.

Fred The Punter.

I'm still here - I haven't disappeared into a black hole.

no problem fred, to increase the width of the selections column -

- select column D by left clicking your mouse on the D
- move the mouse pointer to the right edge of the top of column D until you see a left/right arrow symbol, then hold down your mouse left click button & drag to the right to increase the column's width

hope that helps

Fred,

You can also adjust the width of a column to fit it's contents by double left clicking on the right hand margin.
