G'day all,

Not a bad days racing tomorrow in Brisbane, and although the focus is squarely on Melbourne, there are a few nice betting opportunities at Doomben. Good weather during the week has ensured a good track.

Race 1 - Don't mind Kanetoshi Millions here. Doesn't strike me as the most genuine galloper around but this isn't all that strong and his form of late has been pretty good. Inside draw and the claim for Palmer help a lot. Classy Darcy is a clear 2nd pick. Will go out to a big lead again i'd say, and it took a massive run by Milady Clang to gun her down last time. Could easily win tomorrow by grinding them into the ground. Craiglea Bob has been around the mark lately, but i'm not going to put him on top until he gets another win.

Race 2 - Gee wasn't Unswerving a good run last time. Was green in the straight but she was really running away from them at the end. I think she can win again from the good alley with some speed on up front. Pure Energy gave nothing else a chance last time at the Coast and can repeat the dose here. Tender Truce is there again too, will be on pace and hit the line well last time at this track. Tough race, i could make a case for 9 of the 10 runners...

Race 3 - Thought Bold Reason was a special last week at Eagle Farm, until he tipped the jockey on the way to the barrier. Even though this is a more difficult assignment (and the 1000m doesn't appear ideal), i think from the 1 gate he can give a great sight. Nice horse. Stirling has the claim and the run last time was very good. Will be running on at the death. Saint Angelo is unbeaten and the win at EF last time was better than it appeared with the Jockey saying he didnt really handle the wet ground. No surprise to see him account for these again.

Race 4 - Shame Mesmerising has been scratched. I like Allegro Spiritoso back from a freshen. She has shown good ability in the past, and although her last few runs were below par, i think in the easier field she can go close. Cha Cha D'Amour finds it really difficult to win but she will get speed here, and on the fresh side, can figure in the finish. Seismic Lady was a good run with a big weight at the coast last start, and will appreciate the relief here. Speed looks good for her too.

Race 5 - Adavale Hornet. His figures of late place him far ahead of these. If he runs up to any of his last 3, i can't see him beaten. All the recent racing will have to take its toll soon, but this race is not strong. I expect him to win. Enthusiast is a doubt at the journey, but has always had abiltiy and can figure if he returns to some of his past form. Xlerate is a non-winner but can run into a placing tomorrow (now that i've said that he'll win by 3 eased down :p).

Race 6 - I like Steel Cap. Won by a space in the country last time and has the 1 alley. Has won in town before in good class races and at the 11s in the paper, looks a good eachway proposition. Mersey Beat looked to be something beaten last time, and from the 2 alley is a chance. Will be unders though - couldn't believe the paper quote when i saw it this morning, $3.50!. Is a long way up in class. Proud Native can fly home when he wants to, and the speed here should ensure he gets a chance.

Race 7 - All Bar One should lead and win. Didn't have the zip to find the lead over the 1000m at the GC last time, but the longer journey and less established speed in this race will see him find the lead. I don't think any of these are quick enough to get him, assuming he is right. Nessuno was a strong win in good time a week or 2 back and can reproduce the run no worries. Strong place chance. Daimyo won well, but had the speed on to suit him at the coast. Won't get things all his own way tomorrow i don't think. Really nice horse though, and they can do some amazing thing when they're right :).

Race 8 - Last race. Don't mind Babinda Half. Just couldn't reach the lead last time and that was his undoing. There doesn't appear to be as much speed in this one, so i think he can find the front and dictate again. THe 1200m is my only concern. Cupboard has a perfect alley and has good form on the board. Didn't handle the going last time, so forget he went around and go on his previous efforts. They see him in this up to his ears. Huddle is a backmarker who will be storming home at the end if the leaders start to wobble. Good race to finish on.

Best tomorrow are Adavale Hornet, All Bar One and Cha Cha D'Amour a rough rough hope :).

Best of luck everyone
