Very ordinary meeting at Horsham today as is mostly the case with Monday meetings.
The 1st leg of the quaddie is a mdn. over 1800m. and not 1 horse could be supported with any confidence.
A small outlay on the quadrella around 6 horses in the 1st. leg and Lightning Tears 1 out in the 2nd leg might provide some interest in a lack lustre programme.
For what it is worth, Lightning Tears won this race, this meeting last year, with 53.5kg. by 3L. The claim brings him/her in with 1.5 kg. more.
Last 2 runs have been in town.
Leg 1. 2-5-6-7-10-12
Leg 2. Lightning Tears
Leg 3. Skandia-Intensive.
Leg 4. Sans Gene-Kaseh-Marzurro-Above Class.

6x1x2x4. $24-00/50c. unit.

The danger, El Messiah is shortening.

Got One in...... 3 to go...... fingers crossed ;)Whoever picks the races to go into the quaddie legs often pick maiden races, presumably to make it a raffle.
More times than not, the favourite wins.

$4-30. The $24-00 I spent on the quaddie might have been better spent straight out on this one.

Even though it's a maiden, Bandini could be the danger in the next, along with La reef.
Might be able to salvage something with a trifecta.

Not that keen on Kaseh in the last. Way under the odds I reckon.
The only possible danger could be Rich Attraction, currently $7-20.

#4 Full Of Bubles for a small E/W bet......... but not sure why?

Won last tart by a fair margin, even if it hung in during the race, tho the start before was a shocker!.....

Well done....Thanks Stix.

Just out of interest, a 50c. all up bet on the winners today would have returned $135-00.
So, the quaddie was under the odds but more times than not it is double.

i am using my own ratings to have a go at the quaddies but i am taking 4 horses in each leg........i had a bet on both Horsham and Grafton Quaddies....i bagged the grafton Quaddie but missed out on the Horsham one.....i picked up a $2800 quaddie yesterday.

Would have thought it hard to miss the quaddie at Horsham yesterday with 4 picks in each leg.
A $128-00 outlay for a 50c. unit though would not have provided much value.
A loss in fact.

Yeah i was surprised that i missed that one aswell.....in the past i have made adjustments to my ratings to find i miss more winners....it is still a work in progress and i am only making 7% p.o.t because of a bad run when i tried to improve my selections....i have about a 65% SR with my top 4 slections and between 25% amd 30% SR for the quaddies i have only been betting these selections for a few weeks now but have picked up over $8,000 in quaddie divis i don't bet a full unit but use flexi on NSW tab....i will poat a few here when i have them......nothing for today

What have you outlayed to pick up $18000-000 in quaddie divs.?
In other words your profit.

In other words your profit.I reckon it's around $1,200 for 7% POT (18,000 / 1.07 = 16,800-ish)

Bit worried how Shaun's post says $8,000 and then Imagele's quote has $18,000 in quaddie dividends....

Where did you get the $8000-00 from Stix?

Looking at the time of both posts, Shaun edited his post in the same minute Imagele posted his, i'm guessing Imagele quoted Shaun's post a few seconds earlier then Shaun edited his.

Have just had a look back at Shaun's post.
Don'y know how that quote turned $8000-00 into $18000-00.
It was definitely a quote.

Sorry to clear it up , yes i did edit the post i have know idea why i put 18,000 it was supposed to be 8,000.....at the moment i am just testing the waters so to speak and am using flexi betting to keep the overall costs down.....i am betting to 20% so each bet cost me $51.20 with 27 bets for 7 winners it is a bit over $100 profit....this may seem smal but i am only betting smal and as i said i had a bad run last week and missed a couple so have gone back to my older system....not saying the ratings are gold but i find they work more than they don't and decided the quaddie may be the best to try as backing the idividual races does not work.
For today these are the selections, i have taken in to account scratchings but provide my top 7 incase there are other scratchings....i just back the top 4 in order after scratchings.....i have been thinking of trying the top 2 as standouts with the others for trifectas but have not gone over results to test this as yet.
