Thought it might be time to trail a new system on the board which I have been monitoring for the last few weeks. Time to trial it publicly so it can fall flat and I can get back to monitoring my bets from my usual systems.

Why trial a system on this forum.?
What's the point?
Does it help the system's chances?
Is anyone going to support these selections from a trial?
Trial it for 12 months privately and then post selections in the event it's any good.

If I trial a system for 12 months and it is good I won't be posting the tips here I will be using it as per my last few systems. ( 2 other systems I use produce consistent profits).

Posting it here makes a slightly better test as it is public. By being public it is harder for me to tamper with the system and/or results. To me that is worthwhile for at least a month to see if the results are consistent.

As far as if people follow the tips, I realy don't care its up to you. I am just putting $5 on each tip as well while I trial the system.

After looking at my account today I found I missed putting up here all the bets yesterday (I missed 1 ). I won't count it as it wasn't posted but I was happy to see it won paying $2.90.

If people are interested in how this system works I will give a bit of an overview of it without giving it all away. My main methods that I have been using are all centered on common sense rules. I don't think weight is a big factor, I don't think barrier position is a big factor. I do believe that conistency and fitness are very large factors. These selections look for consistent horses (placings and/or wins and beaten lengths) who appear to be fit ( running good times, being near the leader, finishing hard, etc ).
I don't take too much notice of the trainer or jockey either.

Its up to you whether you agree or disagree on the above but I find it works and makes a profit ( even if you get skinny odds sometimes).

Not saying it was a good or bad selection... as the horse is unknown to me. Just looked over it's record and appears to be quite different from the majority of system selections, that's all.... (no innuendo or malice intended ;) )

Also, do you bet exotics with your selections?

You want me to give away all my secrets .... lol

He came up due to his recent second. Whereas a lot of the other horses were either first uppers or had ran poorly in their last few selections. He got picked pretty much based on recent form (taking out the last run awhich was at a distance way too long for the horse). I don't like first uppers or those running poorly in there last few races. I do make an exception for one bad run.

I had 3 selections which I bet on. They were AntoFangsta, Zorobo and Go Beserk.

I hit the winner and the quinella which paid nicely.
I didn't think this was a hard race to pick at all.

I don't bet exotics all the time but if I think it is a 2 or 3 horse race I will.

Moosouk is the system selection for Mildura but it looks like a hard meeting. And I don't have confidence in this horse with so many poor form horses being rated higher by the handicapper.

I will be concentrating on Race 2 and taking Fava or Mighty Mio (or Both) and Race 6 on Giladia and Mulga Boy (or both) and Race 8 Joke Brother.

Narromine looks slightly easier to pick with Race 1 Lovely Lunacy and for an upset Race 6 Lester Cove (fav will probably be WinBreaker).

I don't see any real bankers out there tommorrow in any of the meetings but I think the above races is where I will make some money.

I say continue, we need members that are willing to post, not to mention those that appear (?) to have a sound selection base. I'm sure there are a number of members (and guests) that have used you tips and won. I for one have backed you tips a few times (on days where I have had little time to look for my self :( ) and with some good results.

Keep tipping them, so along with L2B, a4Brian, Jim, Chuck, Will, Mav, Raw, XPT, Crash, Michaelg..... etc etc (Man, sounds like an Oscar's acceptance speech :D )......even stix (:p), and all the other regular (tip) posters, some of us can satisfy our itch on a "daily" basis...

This system has worked for a month producing a remarkable strike rate and POT for how simple it is.
