Hi Guys...no sven ?? guessing because of the state of the track its just to hard to rate the races...heard its been pouring for a week..
havent even looked at scratchings..but thers going to be a stack..
even so i do like a few today..if i get some sort of price..

frustrating placings ...did manage belgrade in the last at Doomben ...nice odds i thought..

Hi a4brian..
I'm not in Brissie at the moment...and haven't rated a race or even looked at a video replay for ages ...
Will be some time before i'm back in the saddle ..
Video replays, gossip and inside rumours and ratings have been the reason for my success over the last 2 years..
Lately i've gone back 2 years and have been just been a form guide punter...i still get the odd winner but no where near the consistency .. just more or less breaking even on most days and losing on the rest....but i have a limit i'm betting with per day so i'm keeping things under control...last thing i want to do is start chipping away at the bank thats taken me 2 years to build up..

In the mean time Sven's still posting his thoughts and has been going very well...yesterdays racing with the wet was best left alone ..i doubt Sven would have wasted his time with it as i dont think i wouldve either....
going off the form guide made Proud native , Scenic wells and Stoodup look pretty good as most punters thought so to....glad they were to short for me ..missed Black Ink (a horse i always back) as i wasnt sure in the wet...thought Belgrade very good value in the last though....

Hopefully Sven posts next week :)

I've decided to have a break from all things horse racing for the near future and so i probably won't even be going near a form guide. I've got a bit too much going on at the moment, so i just figured it would be best to concentrate on other things (and save my money :)).

Sorry to hear that but like you to know i have really appreciated your thoughts. It is people like you and Mav also Jim that makes this site so good.
by putting there tips on the line for all to see.It does get to you after awhile as i find out but i think we add a bit of pressure to ourselves at time.
Anyway good luck in anything you do.
