I myself have a uk racing site devoted to uk racing systems. Feel free to strip the site of whatever systems you feel will work over there in Aus.

I actually have trawled the UK sites quiet extensively and there is some great stuff that us Aussies have not even thought of. (speaking for myself).
The only problem is that most of it seems to concentrate on jumps racing. However, you can still apply some methods to flat races.

The racingpost is the equivalent to our Sportsman.
The punter's bible.

Another winner today not very good odds but a winner is a winner.

Deferlant Won

One thing about this system is that it is consistant. With something like 80% winners.

Another day another winner.

100% so far. Has anyone looked at it for aus rules.

Understand all the rules UKRACING but what is RP VERDICT ?
Is it a tipsters poll?

The rest of the system would throw up consistant winners on paper.

It would throw up a lot of winners (but I doubt it would make 80% in Australia - particularly on mid-week racing). Unfortunately average dividend would be pretty low.

I don't have the morning starting prices in my database but the shortest TAB starter today that satisfied the criteria was Golden Whirl in Race 5 at Casterton. Last 3 starts 212, started at $1.80 on Tabcorp - didn't run a place.
Yesterday we had Green Pick in Race 2 Sandown (111, started $1.60 on Tabcorp) - didnt run a place and also Zaheed in race 5 Belmont (311, also at $1.60) which won.
Friday there was Snippets Jewel in Tamworth race 2 (131, $1.90) - finished 3rd paying $1.10 the place.

So last three days there were 4 starters for a single winner and a fairly big loss. I realise the selections may be different if you look at starting prices from the morning paper - maybe someone else who has the papers for last few days can see if these selections were the same or if something else would have been selected. Also what is the rule if you have two selections at same price - back them both or go for the best record?

RP verdict is a section under the cards which give between 1 and 3 horses expected to run well in the race. Im not sure if you have something similar over there. But here in England the RP verdict is usually there or thereabouts in giving a fair assessment of a horses chances in a race.

Todays selection is

Windsor 3-00 Fruit of Glory F/C @ 7/4 although there is 2.9 available on betfair as I write.

May June July saw a longest losing run of 2 and then only once. August so far has seen a losing run of three.
But each month saw a level stake profit of between 15 - 25 points. All for one horse a day. Rarely two and only if two horses are forcast at the same price.

I use Tabform over here in WA. I found 6 old papers from the last couple of months and applied the UK racing method to the prices in the newspaper. This resulted in the method giving the winner for all 6 weeks, although 3 of them were from WA. I also left out Adelaide, when doing the tips, only using Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Maybe it was beginners luck or maybe there is something in the system. By the way, the selection for Sat 10th was Zaheed. The winners have all been very short with $2.10 being the highest, but any winner is a good winner. I will continue to keep an eye on the system.
I only calculated the horses for Saturday meetings
