Okay guys, i don't know much about soccer, but i came with this for my sportal dream team

GK: Dida (BRA)
GK: Roberto Abbondanzieri (ARG)
Def: Gabriel Heinz (ARG)
Def: Carlos Puyol (ESP)
Def: Alessarndro Nesta (ITA)
Def: John Terry (ENG)
Def: Radhi Jaidi (TUN)
Mid: Michael Balack (GER)
Mid: Claude Makelele (FRA)
Mid: Ronaldinho (BRA)

Bearing in mind that you can have maximum 2 from any team, can anyone give advie as to changes i should make.......

Points are given for scoring goals, saving goals, team winning, playing, clean sheet, and points are taken away for conceding goals, yellow cards, penalties

I also need to nominate someone for double points

Any help would be great

Did you get the centerbet guide to world cup ... it probably has some useful tips on players in there ... But I have no idea.

Get rid of Gabriel Heinze hes quite a gamble, he had knee reconstruction in November, will be entering tournament without having played a competitive match since last year. Replace him with Jan Kromkamp, and throw Lionel Messi in the midfield, I am putting HUGE tickets on him this cup hes Maradona on heat

Great that you chose Messi I have big faith in him, Kromkamp is good player and I hope he does well also but there are several capable defenders to select from.. Cech is great goalkeeper, but he does not have rock solid chelsea defenders in front of him with the national team. In the group phase they come up against USA and Italy, both are capable of scoring goals. And should they finish second in the group, they will most likely come up against Brasil in the second round. To say the least not very confident on Czech this cup taking in to account their form and match ups.

Get rid of Makelele. He is a defensive midfielder, which means he will be getting plenty of yellow cards, and he wont be scoring any goals. Swap him for an attacking player.

They should award players based on the number of tackles they make me thinks, because although he is a midfielder who won't score many goals, his contribution to teamplay is very good.

My turn for help now ....

Here is my dream team :
GK: Dida, (BRA)
GK: Cech, Petr(CZE)
Def: Fedorov, Serhiy (UKR)
Def: Rusol, Andriy (UKR)
Def: Cannavaro, Fabio(ITA)
Def: Nesta, Alessandro(ITA)
Def: ????????
Mid: Ballack, Michael(GER)
Mid: Gerrard, Steven(ENG)
Mid: Nedved, Pavel(CZE)
Mid: Lampard, Frank(ENG)
Mid: Ronaldinho, (BRA)
Fwd: Kuyt, Dirk(NED)
Fwd: Van Nistelrooij, Ruud(NED)
Fwd: Bravo, Omar(MEX)

I am fairly happy with the team except for maybe 2 spots. Omar Bravo could possibly be replaced, and I need another defender.

Any suggestions ? Keep in mind you can only have 2 players from each team so I can't have anyone from UKR, BRZ, CZE, NED, ITA, ENG.

I think UKR, BRZ, CZE, NED, ITA, and ENG should all at least pass the round robin games.

I also think ITA and UKR will have the best defence effort along with Brazil mainly because of their style of play and/or opposition in early stages.

Thanks.
