Here is a system from the neurals.

BP = 3, WT = 4, Dis = 1, JT = 1 all others 0.

I have added a couple of filters to this and its results are :

203 Races
49 Winners
90 Places
WIN $ = 371
PLACE $ = 213

Tommorrows Selections :
Cessnock Race 1: Ready For Life
Cessnock Race 4: Amboise

Thought I would just mention the same neural settings with no filters had the following results :

Races 572
Wins : 103
Places : 214
WIN $ : 823.0 (POT 43%)
PLACE $ : 541.8

Its a slightly lower strike rate and lower POT.

As u have WT setting at 4, I assume this is for rain affected tracks. Is it raining in Cessnock?

freek,

No works on all good and fast tracks as well. Wt doesn't really just pick horses that can run in the wet.

crash,

Oops forgot to add it. Filters are
Field of 8 or less.

Good Luck.

Wesmip1, could I ask what the divdend range was for the selections? with an average of about $ 7 for the filtered variety I would assume a couple of $ 20 + results. I've found with the neurals, they tend to work better on non metro meetings, where barriers can seem to play a more important role, and also jocks that seem to master some tracks alot better than others, such as P Graham around Pt Macquarie and neighbourhood.

Dr Ron,

I will check it out for you when I get home.
There were some large ones and some smallish ones. From memory they range from $1.60 - $51. Again from memory most ranged around the $3-$8 range though.

Thanks

Wesmip1, how about also looking at the total points allocated. Maybe those that are over a certain amount might perform better than those under?

The neurals points for cp cf and time can be quite exaggerated at the top end. Do either of you guys have a method of condensing down to a more realistic figure?

Dr Ron,

You want all the secrets..

This is what I do ...

Change the figures to a percetage of total. ie Add them up and divide by each one. This is the easiest way to set all settings as equal.

Also ...

I checked the figures and the smallest winner was $1.40 and the largest winner was $51.60. The median figure was $4.90

Good Luck.

Dr Ron,

no Probs..

Here is another one for you.

CP=5, JA=2, CRS=2, JT=1, WT=1, BP=1, DLR=1,

572 Races
Winners : 148 (SR 25.8%)
WIN $ : 661.80 (POT 15%)

You won't see too many ratings systems hold up these results over 572. Might have been a lucky run .. I will know in about another 1500 races.

Worth watching...

Of the 18 races today it had 6 Winners for a return of 19.60 on unitab.
Placed in 14 of the races as well and usually at double figures.
