Don't bet on it. A draw isn't all that bad.

Perhaps he should ask his #2 goalkeeper for some oddsmaking tutelage.

What on earth was he thinking picking Kalac over Schwarzer??? :eek:

As soon as I saw him in goals, I thought we were going to be in BIG trouble.

Don't have any kids, Rabz. But I sure hope you're right!

I was personally hoping that perhaps Hiddink might have realised his mistake and replaced him at half time.

Ahhh, well in that case, I'm willing to bet my harbourside mansion and my Mercedes.

Seriously though, I hope like hell that Schwarzer is playing against Italy. If I turn the TV on and see Kalac out there, I think I'll just turn it off again and go to bed.

After Kalac's display I'll be surprised if he ever plays for Australia again.

It wasn't only the regulation stop straight to him that he fumbled and let in. He made plenty of other mistakes as well.

There are better goalies in our own A League.

Even in the first half, he very nearly fumbled a straight forward regulation catch over the line for a goal. That's why I was hoping that perhaps Hiddink would realise his mistake and replace him at half time.
