Thought I would share this currently profitable system with the forum .. and maybe someone can test it out over their database :
Results so far since 11th April -
Bets 219
WIN$ 237.70
Place$ 218.10
Results are on Unitab prices and could be improved upon easily with best tote, etc.
Rules :
1. Horse must have the Top Average Price Money
2. Horse must have won last start
3. Horse must not have an amatuer jockey.
4. Horse must not be resuming (ie no X in last start column as per unitab)
5. Horse must have ran at least 9th or better in the 2nd and 3rd last runs.
All of the rules above are what I believe are sensible and not backfitted to any data.
Good Luck.

Obviously more successful at non-metro meetings.
How does a data base cope with rule 3 ?
3. Horse must not have an amateur jockey.
......whoever they are. Perhaps an unlicensed rider who likes to ride in a race now and then for an adrenalin rush? :-))

Sorry meant apprentice jockey not amatuer.
Distiguished by an (A) behind the jockey name whether or not they can claim.
Not sure if you tested the same rules as I only had 219 bets in 3 months and the results show 246 for June and May which is way more than I had.
Apprentice jockeys kill this system thats why I took them out.
