Okay guys, i know nothing about NBL, but i enjoy these dream team comps and i have chosen this team for the NBL season:

Centre: Chris Anstey

Forward: Larry Abney
Forward: Mika Vukona

Guard: Mike Helms
Guard: Aaron Olson

And a bunch of no name reserves

Can anyone help improve this?

Scores are as follows:
A Point = 2
Missed Shot = -2
Rebound = 2
Assist = 2
Block = 4
Steal = 4
Turnover = -2

Bear in mind there is a salary cap,

any help would be great

Boy, it's damn tough to get a good team under the salary cap. Anyway, I'm not a huge NBL expert either, and I've only had a quick look at it. I may well change this before Wednesday after doing a bit more research, but at the moment I have:

C - CHRIS ANSTEY $179,000
F - JASON SMITH $124,800
F - EBE ERE $77,600
G - DAVE THOMAS $137,200
G - ANTHONY STEWART $75,900

SUBS
C - NICK HORVATH $48,500
F - CAMERON TRAGARDH $31,600
F - DANIEL EGAN $37,400
G - DARREN NG $31,600
G - BRAD HILL $31,600

I think Ebe Ere and Nick Horvath are both good value for money. So is Brett Wheeler ($31,600). I would have liked to have Wheeler in my team as well, but he's in the same Centre category as Anstey & Horvath.

Out of the expensive players, I think the best ones are possibly Anstey, McKinnon, Redhage, Abney, Thomas, Rychart, Smith, McDonald.

yeah i just went of the stats at nbl.com.au...

my bench is:

Ian Crosswhite
Tommy Greer
Daniel Egan
Brad Robbins
Matt O'Hea

mathematically you should always just spend big on your bets 5 and nothing on reserves :)
