I was having lunch with a friend who told me that he has had success with a multi bet on the NRL.
He picks 4 games and combines all the teams in several multi bets.
My question is how many combinations of the 2 teams.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking but I think the answer is 24

You are going to need 2 teams in the first leg ... then 2 teams in the second leg then 2 temas in the third leg and then 2 teams in the final leg
2x2x2x2 = 16
Is this what you are asking ?
Or if you include the draw :
3x3x3x3 = 81
Good Luck.

I followed and tried these 2 systems last year, with a lot of success.[did not bet on every game, just 1 or 2 a week, most weeks]
Back both sides to score 21 - 30 pts [ pays around $2.70 - $3.00 ]AV $1.40
and
backing the outsider to score 11- 20 and 21- 30 pts, pays arond the same as above,

Hopefully you've got a NSW Tab account,[not sure if its in vic] go to NRL, say for example Dragons v's Knights,its under the option of Rd2 Dragons - Knights IncExt 23/03 then it will list all the options , including Team 1 [home] and Team 2 [away]THATS IT!, oh it wont be there just yet ,too early on wednesday,only got H2D and line, probably late Thursday or sometime Friday, good luck.

Thanks, yeah the trick is not to get greedy and have too many bets every week, because you will definately lose in the long run. Got 2/2 last week and up $90 already, i'll be happy if i can do that every week, that will give me my bank for the Spring Carnival. Havent done anything like that in the AFL yet,i'll look at what options i like there,followed the Tri-bet option a few times and won last year.
