yep, understand. thanks pharfromoz :)of course you can always use your own judgment to tell if turning back could favor him. doesnt always have to be dwelter. some times i like to use horses that come from behind after following slow fractions when going longer .shorting up will always help.

Wasn't my point diogenes :) I'm still getting my head around pharfromoz's 'different' approaches. I was also going to post later (for pharfromoz) a question if a min. number of runs had to be completed in the current campaign before consideration be given to under or over (extension) possibilities.

i also like to use horses who i think might have blown an opportunity after a over extention run last out.

prefered runs to be completed- 1 to 3 would be to my liking but sometimes you might miss a good price by leaving something else out. because some horses keep themselves in shape by running all the time compared to some horses that need refreshings.

T.O.E. is an angle to use in a all around effort with other angles of handicapping to nail those big exotic pays and straight wins.

of course you can always use your own judgment to tell if turning back could favor him. doesnt always have to be dwelter. some times i like to use horses that come from behind after following slow fractions when going longer .shorting up will always help.

but it does getting me guessing to use a horse that won last out.

coming from way off the pace is a judgement call to see if he did get something out of it. because quick fractions will help closers but wont always help his cause next out if it was an easy run. but if he was closing from way out against slow fractions then he will no doubt get something out of it.

there was no surprise either that most of the horses i posted where not gonna place. but i did have money on#3,#4 and #7 in the exotics in the 4th and wp on bust up and show bet big al hazim which both placed 4th. which doesnt pay much. couldnt believe tha big al hazim couldnt get past the third place horse that was falling back. pathetic.

good call again. 6/1 up here in the states.
