I have been using a pen and paper to work out each bet for my 4 state system and now I have decieded to use a spreadsheet.

Can Someone help?

I bet 1 horse in each race at each meeting until I hit a winner then stop. I need to work out each bet with the loses added to each losing bet.

I'm aiming to win $100 at each of the 4 meetings, which are Melb, Syd, Ade and Bris.

A very simple example if you are useing exel.

In A1 100 B1 your expected odds C1 =A1/B1 this will give you amout to back which will return your target. In A2 =A1+C1 this will give you new target if you loose.

Cheers

Thanks crackone. I'll try it. One question, each meeting requires a seperate cell do I repeat the formula you gave me.

mad gamblerYes just start it in A10 or E1 something like that, this will give you a return of $100 not a profit of $100

I'm up rather late 2:10 a.m when I was checking my email and I recieved an interesting one from an old friend I went to school with and now living Southhampton (England)

He told me that he has been backing 4 horses in a race to make a profit of 25 pounds and stoping after a winner.

Could the formula be ajusted.
